This is one of the few games where I, the player, wanted Hiro and the gang to save Lucia and defeat Zophar. I wanted them to win so badly. I felt for all the characters. I've beaten both Lunars at least once a year for the past 8 years. To think the first time I beat these games I was 14. They're de3finately my favorite games of all time and that's come from 10 years of gaming experience.

I have it, but I think Eternal Blue only has the paper map.

It's Silver Star Story that has the cool cloth map. On the flip side, though, Eternal Blue gets that pendant.

Lunar Eternal Blue has the most heart filled rpg ever, when the charactors laugh i laugh when they cry i cry. it is the most perfect game ever, and in 30 yers time i will still play it

You have to play the Sega CD, Saturn or PSX remake one. I still contest that the original Sega CD is the best. Also, I don't remember this ever being released on DS. Only Silver Star Story and Magic School Series been on DS that I know of.

He probably means the ill-fated Lunar Genesis (aka Lunar: Dragon Song), the prquel to Lunar: The silver Star that was thought to be part 3 of the series at long last - only to be faced with an enormous disappointment. I still don't know what went wrong there...perhaps Game Arts was too busy finishing Grandia III at that time? In any case, it would be like a dream come true if Game Arts ever made a real Lunar 3, as well as a next-gen Grandia IV.

The Sega CD version has the same music, but for some reason it sounds a bit louder and more clear. Of course in the Sega CD version you also have to pay exp to save the game.

This is the only game that made me keep my sega cd. Such an unrated awesome game. Even the remake is awesome.
