I've got a wicked comment below from a little over two years ago ;P. I'll be seeing Sufjan for the first time on his latest tour (I scored tickets at what I'm sure will be a wild venue). I cannot express how heartfelt I feel about this, and how firmly it is etched into my bucket list, and how much pleasure I will have in striking a charcoal line through it. I may be a romantic when it comes to Sufjan, but it's only because I enjoy life that much more partially soundtracked by this man's music.

I was playing around and I think I found them... No capo, not alternate tuning, just F (tabbed x33211), C, Am, D (or a variation of D, tabbed 2x0230, which I prefer.) It's not much to play though, and it sounds so plain without the cornucopia of instruments in the real song. Official recording on next cd please Sufjan!
