if you fly manila to hong kong with the reconfigured b747 400's of the b773, will you still get to play games at watch the movies on the list, or will they just have short films

the games are all available, and movies are shown as well... AVOD (on-demand).. its not broadcast anymore... you can select your own since you have your own monitor even in economy. You can even listen to different CD albums available or watch short films... On B777s, you can even shop through your monitor or plug in your ipod via the USB ports.

@extrakurt why does it say oct 27 2008. It confuses me cuz the b747's were reconfigured in 2009.

B747 completed the reconfiguration of ALL 4 B747s in 2009.

It started in 2008 with this plane N751PR (now RPC7471).... This was the only reconfigured B747 at that time...... actually, this was one of its first flights with the new seats... and I like the smell of a new seats! especially those cocoon-type Recaro seats. :)

bakit yung mabuhay class ng PAL ay parang economy ng iba?..

sa mas pagandahin pa nila..tagal-tagal na ng PAL sa aviation business bakit di nila pinagaaralan kung paano mas magiging komportable ung mga pasahero nila..

naiiwan na ata ang PAL ng ibang mga Airlines..Mabuti pa ang JAL sikat..kahit ung unang eroplano galing ng PAL..

I think it was PR 306 or PR 300... It doesnt matter, 4 of 5 PR's B747 has the same seats now..

It was the first reconfigured PAL B747 at that time, N751PR.

Their new cabin for A319s is respectable too... flew once in one of them and its was cool.. that was manila-cebu and i was using my non-rev ticket but they wont let me check in so i bought a J class ticket and got my 1A seat in a split second. the IFE must be the same with their new 747s.. (i really do hope so!). Next thing they should do is to change their old FAs and bring in the younger ones from domestic ops.
