hi guys i noticed all the assassins had one finger missing in altairs memory can you tell me if im correct on this if i remember Leonardo of assassins creed 2 mentioned to ezio you have to have a finger cut off to use the hidden blade but then he said its bean upgraded so ezio didn't have to have his finger taken off because the old assassins did n witch to use the hidden blade.ext.

@sebarden that's correct. the masyaf assassins had their ring finger removed, as proof of commitment for the brotherhood. but altaïr modified the blade design to make the finger removal unnecessary. in the renaissance, they brand the insignia in your finger (like cowboys do on the horses)

its obvious what the apple is its tech from aliens you hear storys about aliens leaving tech behind on earth from their visits in the dark ages and the people from the dark ages times call it magic but its just advance tech far ahead of their time and the assassins creed games are reflecting on those "storys" i can pretty much see the main road where the games are leading to i dont know the specific ending but i think i could make a few accurate guesses

i think the voice acting of Altair in this game is just fine, the Altair in first game spoke perfect english while everyone else had accents and it felt awkward. The new accent made it less awkward and differed Altair as a complete different character other than Desmond reliving/acting Altair's memories.

The voice acting is not bad...but i still don't like it for two reasons

1) To me it sounds alot like Ezio's voice..i mean i get how their trying to make them sound related but there's a big gap from the Crusades to the Renaissance (also Ezio is originally from Italy so his accent makes sense)

2) Yeah i agree the original voice didn't fit but it just made Altair more badass

Since they upgraded the animus, it makes altair look and sound the way he did back then. when he was with lucy and vidic at abstergo, there animus was older and made altair sound and look like desmond cause it could not access altair's real voice and appearance. thats why altair look and sounds the way he does in the game. thumbs up so people know :)

Altair doesn't resemble Desmond or Ezio because of the new animus. The Animus 2.0 is the one that the assassins made, and it was more advanced. The animus in Abstergo wasn't as advanced, so it couldn't distinguish his face OR voice. It just made him look and sound like Desmond.

And another thing: The reason Desmond looks so different, the reason why he looks like that guy frmo GTA4 is because the animus mixed his face with Altair's and Ezios, he's all 3 of them.

It is pronounced like "all-tie-ear".

Isn't it pronounced as "All-tha-ear"? It has even come to my attention that some characters in the game pronounce it as "All-Tha-Air". It depends on the character I think. Desmond seems to pronounce it more with "ear" in the back, while some Arabic characters, pronounce it with "air" in the end.
