Releasing those documents would harm CIA's reputation, and diminish public's faith in government. Files concerning the invasion of Cyprus were declassified, because its not sensative to domestic tranquility. No one cares about Turkish war crimes from the 1970s. Furthermore, we don't live in a dictatorship, information is classified for a reason it is part of "ordered liberty."
