The USS MONTANA was a planned 70,000 ton battleship, never completed. The ship depicted in the video is a frigate of non-American design. That is a ship a fraction of the size of the incomplete MONTANA. There is no such thing as the "North Atlantic Fleet" in the USN.
This is funny as it is but would be a lot funnier if the ship was the "STOCKHOLM..."
Had this been a real US NAVY warship, we would have simply taken out that smartass lighthouse operator and his dinky lighthouse. There's not much that a little well placed ordinance won't take care of.

I read this joke about 20 years ago in a book and the author was refering to it as a joke narated by a old teacher.

There is no US Navy ship named USS Montana. This is a Royal Navy Type 42 frigate pictured. It is also a parody commercial on an old navy joke.
