oi you nothing about sheep... necessary force is required to control sheep.. they are not very clever you know, and i am a farmer and speak from experience... what next... will you be telling us foxes are cute
just another thing, you dont have to ask them to know that they would prefer a cosy straw matress out of the draughts while the babies are still wet, and to have a little help when they have problems. they will be moved out to the fields in a day or two anyway.
Foolish Arrogant Humans. Let nature be. There will come a time humans and animals shall live IN HARMONY AND PEACE with eachother. Untill then, with all my heart I thank and honor all animals for being a mirror to the sellfish and non balanced actions of today's human kind.
wabasi, if a lamb is born head or tail first there isnt much chance of it bieng born alive. If I was that sheep I would be happy with the help - I wouldnt want my babies, and perhaps myself to die, no matter what nature intended. Sheep dont live in the wild anyway, so whats the point of treating them like wild animals?
Considering the alternatives for the sheep and the lambs - outside cold, wet, born in a muddy puddle, these sheep are in the height of luxury and really well looked after. But perhaps you know more about sheep handling than Farmer Bob who makes a living at it. He keeps his kids in the same pens!!
If someone is going to make a "living" off of animals, all the more reason to show Compassion to those that they make their money off of. Watch a video of a sheep giving birth naturally, mom will slowly move herself to her lamb and slowly clean lamb off, making the bonding complete. Compassion, Empathy, are also components to being "really well looked after".
Abit too much intervention there, best just to keep away if all's well and let them get on with it and pen them later, after ten minutes or so
