  • Fuck, Keith Richards was even uglier then than he is now. How is that possible?

  • I love Mick's top. He looks just like my friend (girl). Those were the days of real rock.

  • ...and now they're playing with the likes of Dave Matthews and Christina Aguilera and Jack White like those people belong on the same stage.

  • Keith said that Mick Taylor was an incredible guitarist, but that unfortunately that's all he'd ever be.

  • one day after i was born (4/7/1969)!

  • Okay..thank you and have a nice day...

  • Check out my cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash...

  • @jlonrecords No Thanx

  • @jlonrecords If I'm gonna check out anyone's cover of this song it'll be the Johnny Winter AND LIVE version

  • IMHO I dont think Taylor was shitting his pants at all. He was (and still is) far more musical skilled that any of the Stones. Taylor said he couldn' t believe how crappy the Stones were live the first time they jammed together.

  • death to the dumb fucker who disliked this video! must be some young jackass hip hop punk.

  • the stones were fucking awesome! bands these days cannot even compete with sixties and seventies rock

  • i think this is one of their best concerts

    i like the crappy sound

  • that bloody fucker who dislike this video must be burned and sent to hell dammit

  • @chidox

    There is no hell.

  • this is great....raw and crankin' like the stones always do...seams like yesterday...young mick taylor...new york thanks ya....

  • Mick Jagger was incredibly happy Brian was dead. It's in small print written all over his thick lips.

  • @Eileene89 You're a clueless twit.

  • @steveconn Nah, he was happy. Mick and Keith were always dicks to Brian and never gave a rats ass about him.

  • @EvilAnticsLive Total bullshit. There's even a picture of Mick and Keith supporting him outside a court house after a drug charge dismissal in Sept 1968.

They carried his woman-beating, drugged-out ass as long as they could before he just became too big a burden. You shouldn't just talk out of your ass about people's relationships.

  • @steveconn Oohhh supporting him! How so? I'd love to see this photo! I'm sorry but this "woman-beating, drugged out" guy was the founder of the Stones, you should show a little more respect because without him, you wouldn't be doing your little dance to Satisfaction and all. I laugh, ya like Keith hasn't ever been drugged out? or Mick? The only solid argument you have is that he beat is whore of a girlfriend while she fucked Keith.

  • @EvilAnticsLive Yeah, and only every book and article about the Stones says he was woman-beating (from '64), drugged-out wreck (from '66), moron. Keith never beat no women and could still function as a guitarist. Brian couldn't. Want the photo? 'Kay, genius, type "Brian Jones Keith Richards Mick Jagger photos" in you Bing browser, select the third link down on the page, then scroll fifteen rows down in the photos - it's the one on the far left. Brian couldn't write lyrics. They could. The end.

  • ESTE ES MI JAGGER PREFERIDO

  • They look like smashing gay angels. Great song

  • Out of tune from the heat? I mean, does it ever really get all that hot in England?

  • @Exilemainstreet Well, the recording sessions for your namesake record were apparently hellishly hot. Now OK, that was Mediterranean France (and yes, indoors and I don't think the place had central ac) and not Britain. But yep, tems at this time of year in Britain can be fairly warm.

  • I was there man!

  • @51oldrocker I definately agree with you!! I didn't realize there was a full DVD of this concert. I will have to search for this....definately great concert footage.

  • <3

  • anyone noticed 2:42 - 2:51 word GAS ?

  • youve missed the point ,,,, this had never been done before, this was a free gig , you just turned up , i was 13 , i wasnt supposed to be there , i told my mum i was going to a park, spent most of the day dodging tv cameras in case i was on the news. we pushed our way through and got really near the front, and cos we were so small people picked us up and sat us on their shoulders,,,,,that wouldnt happen now. i am 55 now and have been to see them so many times since but this gig was special.

  • You can understand Mick Taylor saying that when he 'joined' the Stones 3 days before this gig he was amazed how bad they were as musicians.. Keiths intro is awful ! Great great gig / era all the same.

  • stonew were great then and are great now....the are timeless.

  • It amazes me how The Rolling Stones can make such weird lyrics just sound absolutely wonderful.

  • EPIC

    EPIC

    EPIC

    EPIC

    EPIC

  • open fuckin' g....

  • @vlasan1 It's actually open fuckin' e in this case...

  • IS MK GAY?

  • Is there ANYWHERE I can get clothes like these guys? Seriously I've been searching.

  • @The6thSimpson The white outfit that Mick wore at this Hyde Park concert was based on the Greek military uniform. At least, it was the uniform back then; I don't know if it still is. Have you tried thrift shops for the other clothes?

  • @The6thSimpson It is actually Marianne's Faithful's dress and not a military uniform . so really you need to look in the women's section of a Thrift store.

  • 2:43 - 2:50 12x GAS love it ! :D

  • This is REAL fuckin Rock n Roll man. This is how it sounded LIVE. It was GREAT! I saw the Stones in '77, what a time. You were just in awe because they were the Stones. The shit today with lyp sync, sound effects, everything perfect on stage, todays bullshit can't compare to this. I am so glad I was a kid back then and not today. Hopefully, some of the kids today will carry this music on, while the rest of them overdose on Lady GaGa and Rap bullshit. Long live the Sones & Rock n Roll!

  • @MegaBob77777 If I could shake your hand I would. I feel like it's on my shoulders to carry this music on- what will happen to the masses? What will... happen with out rock n roll? I fear for the future, for my generation. Thanks for your words.

  • Essentially, this is where it all began. This song is the foundation to almost all rock songs produced up to this point. It's so sweet, yet it's dirty with sin! I LOVE IT & LOVE KEITH!

  • to me, this is the greatest rock and roll song ever written......it's just Ketith's guitar.....thank you Rolling Stones..thank you for being who you are....

  • Tom Keylock lurking around backstage.

  • People who criticize this.....come tell me about it the day you have been rocking the hell outta the world for 40 years. Shut up and just listen how music was made when there was no shit pc effects around.

  • Fuck this sounds almost like punk rock its so raw it reminds me alot of iggy and the stooges is there anything the stones didn't do

  • Credit where its due, Brian had just died, Taylor was playing live with them for the first time and obviously shitting himself, Jagger was totally wasted at the start, the sound system was crap and it was bloody hot! yeah totally ragged and loose but still far better than Oasis etc at their best. Get yourself the dvd and watch the whole thing.

  • @51oldrocker What does this have to do with oasis?

  • @MegaCokamo nothing apart from the fact that they and other 90s bands ( Stone Roses for example) derided the Stones, The Who and others whilst proclaiming that they (Oasis) were the best live band in the world. By the way, I quite liked Oasis.

  • @51oldrocker Oasis and the who are my two favorite bands. Both are great live bands. The who have that r&b stuff and oasis have the britpop grunge. But yeah i see your point.

  • @51oldrocker Ragged is right. They obviously didn't have a whole lot of time to rehearse and it really shows. And, yes, Mick Taylor is obviously shitting his pants! But then again, who wouldn't, right?

  • @51oldrocker Interesting you you say that. All the reviews of this gig state that it was the worst RS gig they ever did. I watched the Granada documentary of this event and have to say it has a very enjoyable primal energy and was very entertaining, a bit dark but still good fun. This outstrips Oasis at their best. No contest.

  • Gosh I LOVE Mick's outfit!

  • somo of you people dont hav any idea, thats how its supposed to be played thats modern music, yes and show it to ur kids and ask them what the think

  • I feel sorry for these kids who think that those old farts they've been seeing for the last 25 years or so are the real Rolling Stones. This is the Stones at their baddest.

  • @dsfddsgh They didn't half get lethargic in the 70s. I can't listen to any of the live stuff with Wood. Too slow, slick and polished. What we're hearing on this vid kicks ass! Good nasty amp sounds.

  • @Noodles37UK Kinda shabby played though ... they fuck up many times

  • @Noodles37UK Check out Rolling Stones - Jumping Jack Flash - Live '76 Paris etc. and you will hear Ronnie PLAY. I don´t know what fucked up their live sound after that.

  • @baskethilt Or even better, try to get hold of a copy of their concert in Memphis in 1978 ( its sometimes called Lacerated at the cocktail party)or the new live dvd from the same tour.

  • @dsfddsgh

22 year old Stones fan talking: Thank you for stating that, it is really comforting O.o

  • @dsfddsgh whaddyou know bout it all, fool!

  • Absolutely divine, Rock'n Roll at its purest, simple, rough & full of joy and energy..

  • @aphroditesaraas

    Joy ?

Wasn't this short after BJ death ???

  • @vuwanl OBVIOUSLY THEY DIDN'T CARE

  • This is the sound of rock and roll. Rough and raw to the bone.

  • I saw lip sinkin!

  • @TheEric2040 thats cuz the sounds off

  • First concert with Mick Taylor. They hadnt played live in quite sometime. Like Bill Wyman said they were hoping the audience would be glad to see them because the Stones were certainly happy to see the audience! Keith is usually the coolest looking in the band but personally I think its the worse he ever looked. Oh well, its only rocknroll but we like it.

  • Okay, the guitars went out of tune in the heat, but they looked and performed brilliantly, and the opening song should've been released on vinyl. Sympathy For The Devil was brilliant. Wish i was there, but i was only a year old. A bit difficult, that...

  • Audios slightly outta sync...And is that mick taylor?

  • @Cryptorchild92 yes actually Mick Taylors first concert with the Stones

  • @Cryptorchild92 Yus, It's Mick T :}

  • aguante los stones!!!es solo rock and roll!!!y me gusta!!!aguante argentina!!!

  • THE ROLLING STONES

the best band of rock and roll ...

    who if not them?

    beatles? zepp? who?

  • outta fuckin site!

  • rough and raw.

    fantastic rock`n roll.

    stones at their best.

  • O som é ruim e ao mesmo tempo é fantástico, pois marcou uma geração que não tinha medo de nada nem papas na língua.

  • The sound was horrible that day, by all accounts, but the visuals were great...

  • @znarf541 epic tuning problems plus the barrage of RETARDS that used to jump on stage in those days.

  • Saw them on tour in 1969 Still as good a concert as I have seen and I have basically seen them all !!

  • I think this is better than the recorded version...Amazin!!!111one
