you are wrong the movie is GOOD...if u did not like the plot is up to u...the novel was written that way and besides is a novel of the 50-s telling the truth about the role of women and men after the war...if u dont like is because is SO real..and even is the plot is not that thrilling their performances,the music,the production is AMAZING and nobody can deny it!

it is a great movie in my opinion. Sam Mendes returns to familiar ground in the suburban life plot from American Beauty. The great thing about this movie is that it doesn't bullshit you. It is a very realistic movie. They don't spend time with cliches... good, good movie. Of course American Beauty is better though

I watched them film a scene from this movie in my home town in CT! It was really cool. Leo got out of a car and ran down the street. That's the scene. And it took a few hours to shoot it! It was interesting to see how it all works. But it was cool and when it was over, he rolled down his window and waved good bye to us hicks who stood around watching. hehe
