@18T220 the cry engine 3 isn't that much more advanced, both have great lighting effects, crysis has better particle effects and gamma, but uncharted has the better textures, and i terms of physic crysis is probably better, but a;tho the physics in uncharted is very good too, personally i think uncharted could look better than, if it was developed for pc, cuz atm it doesn't use directx it uses open gl, and if u just increase the number of tessellations, then it would look epic...
@18T220 plus the shooting mechanics would work just as well on pc, just that u can't reli climb and shoot at the same time as easily using a keyboard and mouse, so it wouldn't work as well...
Shooting behind cover all the time, Triangle button does everything, aim assis, cutscenes every 5 minuts, linear levels and gameplay. Thats really dumbed down. I never bought Uncharted 2 I got it free with my PS3 slim.

Fire looks absolute shit compared to U3's fire, the graphics at time can look a bit like World at War, at times it does look nice with the lighting but they are overhyped due to the fact you can view it on 1600p.

There's no doubt that the Uncharted series is ranked up with Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War. Interesting you mention the embers. Uncharted 3, it seemed that the embers would fall and continue to burn and put out smoke, till they burned out. PS3 is simply amazing. Wish it had more RAM for better framerate though.

The Desert in Farcry 2 looks better than Uncharted 3 and that game is 3 years old.
