I just realized that this scene actually takes place mostly in Jason's imagination, just look how Sarah takes off her apron but then when you see her in the end she has her apron on. So that probably explains the "camp" style of this whole thing.

I personnaly can't watch it without laughing, and I watch True Blood every week, and laugh at scenes like these.

You just have to "read between the lines", don't take it seriously, it's "self-irony" here.
