  • Balls of steel!!!

  • That is one bad jet! And yes water is running down hill you stupid fucks! Thanks for the video! Bad ass jet! Amazes me at the uneducated jackasses that comment!

  • The damn thing isn't even touching the water...Dear Santa..

  • I think he means down stream, and going down stream does make you go faster then going up stream. Now please no one flame me lololol. I was just adding NICE BOAT :D

  • @SINNER4T25 - exactly how is the water level all the time when it's running down hill? if it was level it would be a lake-

  • well if that boat is running down hill and he is running down stream I'd bet he could easily turn around and run the same speed up hill and upstream 120mph going the other way. the boat go's both ways dumb asses' nice boat dude! I have one like yours with a pump gas bbc runs 88mph and 102 on nos.

  • all i can say is most of the people on here are a bunch of fuckin retards! if you have never been 120 in a jet boat, then you have no freakin clue on what kinda horsepower it takes to get there. you can get into the 70'smph range with a strong running engine, but when you start talking 100+mph you need to have your shit together. incase you forgot when you run a jet it cuts your power at least 1/3 so you'd better have a bad ass motor to get to 100mph.

  • Don,t water go down hill, lol

  • fuck that water version of wheel stand much

  • fuck that

  • hes running about 80mph

  • You can only force so much water through a 4" nozzle, I don't care how much hp you have. I know a guy that has a 1,000 hp bbc alcohol fed tunnel hull jet boat, made of kevlar, the hull weighs less than 500lbs, He had everything upgrade possible for the berkley jet, I want to say he had 50,000$ in the boat. He told me it was clocked at 130mph. So I stuck my handheld gps on his dash, 83mph. Just Sayin! :)

  • it doesnt matter the boat is still fast.

  • fuck that, thats insane...i love it, dont get me wrong, but i would feel extremely uncomfortable going that fast in a boat...i'd probably still take a ride in it though...

  • my jet boat will run low 50's and it is pretty cool. this is awesome. only part of boat in the water are the inlet and pump. absolutely freaking cool. thanks for posting

  • only thing in the water is the transom...if a gust of wind got under the bow he would take to the sky like a airplane..

  • Sweet Jesus, this thing did 120mph with a jet drive. with a stern drive this thing will break the sound barrier!

these guys could do it in deeper waters just to see what happens.

    congratulations for the boat!

  • Ok ok, that boat probably Will do 90 mph just fine, but the boat is going down hill + down stream. Looks like its doing 120.

The fastest jet propelled boat was set in 1970 in So Cal at 140. So even in the "Unlimited Div" maybe 120 if you lucky, standing on the shore with a camera looks real fast fer sure. I had 800 hp in a 20 foot Deep "V" V-Drive and saw 60 mph. Takes a lot of HP to go fast, plus that boat was fast with almost the whole hull out of the water.

  • Take a look at the site. Here's a snippet:

Unlimited Class, numbers 300 to 399

Any hull, minimum 16 feet in length.

Any motor or motors, of any type of any displacement.

This means 640 cubic inch motors, helicopter engines or 52 Wankels bolted together if that's what you think would do the job.

This class is currently not run in the US, not enough takers, but is run at world events.

Note: rulewise, BBFX (see below) boats fit in this class also.

    speeds over 130 mph

  • I'll tell ya, you do a good job of trying to sound like you know what you're talking about, but if you truly had 800hp in a 20' boat and only saw 60mph, well bud, you were doing something very, very wrong...

    End of story.

  • yeah.. my co worker has a 22 ft boat, 460 ford pushing mayybe 400 HP, he was clocked at 63

  • Man, thats pretty horrible too.

Back around 83' my Dad took great pride in the fact that in the morning glass of Lake Lanier Ga, his Procraft Bass/Ski boat with 115hp Johnson/Evinrude and a closed Bimini top would do the 62 screaming.

Man she was beautiful. Metallic Rootbeer brown and gold flake paint, white motorguide troller that matched the white Johnson out back. The trailer had sweet mag rims real similar to the General Lee's.

    She was brown Sugar.

And hell, that's 25 years ago.

  • @SINNER4T25 Really? 800hp and only 60mph? We have a 15 foot Sonic running a mildly modified Holden 308 that is around 280-300hp, driving a 3 stage unit. On flat water we've pulled 56mph.

  • @SINNER4T25 Haha downhill. Boats cant go downhill dipshit, the water is always level. Hahahaha dipshit. Hahahahaha dipshit.

  • @eaxnitro Your the dipshit. If the water was completely level it wouldn't move!!! Water moves because it is changing elevation which means water takes the path of least resistance. Therefore it flows downhill. I'm not defending that moron but if you are going to call someone on something you need to know what you are talking about so you don't make yourself also look like a dipshit!!!

  • @mjschmidtantigo Yeah moron, he's driving his boat down the side of a hill. Moron

  • @eaxnitro Your an idiot. You were ripping on him because he said down hill not down the side of a hill. Educate yourself so you dont look so stupid.

  • A lot of comments here from people that have likely never ridden or owned a aluminum tunnel. These boats are built for racing and have dominated the whitewater racing scene for years. They are tunnel hulls that don't even begin to lift the nose until around 70 mph and the acceleration from there to the top speed is insane. These boats do see 140 mph in the unlimited division and well into the 100's in the other classes.

  • having skied and wake boarded behind both multiple stern drive boats and multiple jet drive boats i would say that the hull type is more important that the drive, Yamaha has a twin jet that gets exceptional fuel economy and pulls so hard off the line the captain can rip the rope out of your hands at will, wake boarding doesn't require nearly the amount of pull or effort that a single ski does, a good skier can soak up the wake with his/her knees

  • Jet boats aren't one purpose like the ridiculous Ski boats out there now adays. Slalom skiers want flat wakes (which most jets produce) and wake boarders want huge wakes to jump and do tricks from. Comp ski boats have holding tanks that pump thousands of pounds of water into from the lake to make the boat heavier and produce a bigger wake for boarders. They are also ridiculously slow, get far worse mileage than my jet and need that moronic huge prop just to push it through the water. Jets rule

  • To the assphincter clown - Competition Ski boats are props for one purpose and one purpose alone. They put a ridiculously oversized and prop on them for the "pop" that is mentioned elsewhere. Comp Ski boats are one purpose boats and get WORSE fuel economy than a Jet boat that goes double the speed. A typical Jet boat will "pop" a skier out of water as fast as a Comp. Tige' ski boat and is a hell of a lot more fun to drive. Im a proud owner of a Hallet jet boat that eats most boats for lunch.

  • fuck me thats slow

  • An awful lot of silence from the whole gay V- drive community. What a suprise LMAO. Long live the jet boat!! Stupid V-drives are absolute fucking death traps. It takes pushing a jet boat to the extremes of racing to put it into the same category of insanity as a typical V-drive piece of crap. Not only will a jet boat pull skiers better than ANY typical flat bottom V--drive, Jets have far better overall handling at pretty much every range of the speed envelope.

  • Huh? Why are all competition ski boats v-drives or direct drives? And sorry. That was no where close to 120. A typical jet boat owner exaggerating the top speed. LOL!

  • First, as stated before, this is 120+. That's what 1000+hp will get you, even in a jet.

V-drives and Jets have the off idle acceleration that's needed to "pop" a skier or wakeboarder up. Taking too long to get the boat up to speed will make it difficult for the skier to get their ski up on top of the water. The hull designs also are pretty flat and allow for low planing speeds of 10 or so mph along with getting to comp speed within a couple of seconds. Hope that answers your questions.

  • Let's try again. Why are all competition ski boats prop driven? I have owned both jets and prop boats. Jets are horrible for skiing. Jets are horrible for gas consumption. And sorry. That was not 120. You can lie all you want. I have gone 120 in a boat and that wasn't even close.

  • Ok ASSHAT! I am not lying! This boat has almost no weight with over 1000hp. The speed record is 143! Check out other comments for some more info for your "sphincter"

If you can't comprehend the difference between jets and props, then you probably don't know much about boats to begin with and I am doubting if you've been 120. Props don't disturb the water as much as a jet behind the boat. Jets have a lot of cavitation.

PS: you are blocked because you are being an idiot.

  • Asshat is a TOTAL FAG!! ALL talk but has NEVER EVER had any proof to back his BS. He goes on about how fast his blow up raft is. The only thing he has thats fast is his boyfriend.

  • That may be a 120 mph jet boat, but that didn't look like 120 mph.

  • wow good god that thing is flying

  • Bad ass!! what is in the boat? engine? jet? ect ect. i need to know ;P

  • You can hear that it is a v8 engine. (I think)

Wich is probably driving a jet propellor.

  • hot damn..

  • fuck me

  • no thank you one big wake or a draft of wind and that boat is looping out, maybe some negative angle on trim tabs.

  • maybe... but a set of racing wing tabs on the front help keep it down, much like a f1 wing on the formula cars.... they use a electric ram to move them up and down on the bow to keep the boat from endo ing..

  • I was going to say looks like portland, oregon but I doubt they'd try that on the willamette since it's right next to the columbia gorge which is the windsurfing capitol of the world

  • isnt that the harbercraft boat?

  • the only thing on the boat thats in the water is the jet :O

  • Dam that's incredible!!!!! I've never seen a V bottom jet boat run that fast. Great find unsane!

    Catmando

  • that is a prop driven boat not a jet boat!!

  • That is a 21 ft Eagle jet tunnel. That particular boat, at the time of the video, raced the Whitewater Marathon A-Class. The rules require a jet drive in all the classes. You should see Mark Cromie's unlimited, clocked at 143mph at the Canadian Worlds last year.

  • Yup it is a Jet Boat.

  • a few horsepower shy of pointing that bow at the sky it looks like. i love it.

  • Almost an aeroplane..

  • holy shit man the bows just staying in the water

  • dude that thing is fuckin physco. i have to have that motor for mine. i have a 79 southwind tunnel. i want to go that fast

  • fuckin rights buddy. how vessal like that cost u

  • Gettin after it! Well done.

  • easily doin 120mph looks great

  • Sweet

  • thts not fast

  • Nothin in the water but the transom. NICE.

  • why are you guys hating on the man's boat! you guys just mad that your broke and a joke. love the boat.

  • it doesn't say the boats going 120mph.. it says its a 120mph jetboat.

  • that is not fucking 120.. lets see the gps on it, i have a 1700 hp flatbottom that weighs 512 lbs and your boat cant touch it,thats bullshit dude

  • Yes it is 120+. I think actually 126. This is an Unlimited Class boat and they regularly hit these speeds during marathon races. This type of racing is very popular in NZ, Australia, Cananda and the PacNW. There are other classes below this, Class A, B, C, etc... that are slower. If you REALLY have 1700hp.....let's see it then!

  • You gotta get that sand out of your vagina.

  • yeah sure buddy, let see some specs on your "1700hp flatty" what % gears do you have, prop pitch... and so on. and whats 512lbs... is this just the bare hull? you tool bag...

  • Not so fast. I can paddle my canoe atleast 20mph faster than that.

  • bitchin'

  • Put some wings on it! Now thats hyperspeed!!

  • lol damn yeah a tiny little more air it is gone

  • Not much more speed and that thing would have became an airplane.

  • wow thats cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
