I'm planning a sound & light company here in sweden and

figuring out what to have for spotting certain ppl you know.

Moving heads, to expensive, a A DJ Led Beam scan-seems nice but uncertain.

So would you suggest that you can use scanners to do these kind of things?

Hey buddy can the motors move in small increments? I notice all the movements are quite rapid and move quite a distance. Maybe you can make them perform a slow rotation or a slow movement with the DMX remote?

@slinkipie yep , these r just in sound active mode. in dmx mode u can do much slower movements

@A1partydjs Of course its not as big. But the worlds leading products are still there. Pioneer, Martin Audio, Denon, Nexo, Meyer, Robe, Clay Paky, EV, JBL, Yamaha, EAW, Rane, A&H etc have been at the last few.- about the only thing that is missing is Martin Lighting and thats only because Showtech dont need to be there.

hello mate thanks for the reply. I just wanna share with you this info. You might already know. American dj came out with the new version of these lights its called comscan led. Its a lot smaller and produces really good quality of lights. I don't know the price yet. It hasn't arrive in the stores. However the lights you are showing in this video has dropped its price to $269.00. I might get four of them tomorrow if not two. They come up to almost $300.00 a piece. Really good bargain.

Nice video but i would of liked to have seen the effect on the floor and walls rather than just the beam. For example does this have many different gobos?

y would you do that? any way its sooo diffecult to film the gobo's cause they are zooming all over the place any way you can find out exactly how many and of what gobos are in these lights form the ADJ website

I can't wait to see this at one of your gigs. You can probably retire your Electra's now, or just use them for smaller gigs.

As a matter of fact, I think the X-Scans will over power your other LED lights. It'll be nice to see how you work them into your show.

Oh man! LOVE them in multiples! Beautiful man, just beautiful. I also just LOVE mine, but hate to just run 1 scanner at a gig so I must get more.

I think the reason they are so big is because of lenses, color/gobo wheels & focusing. Still need a bit of distance between the light source and the lense/mirror, etc.
