  • To continue: The Ligures may have an Eurasian or Turanian origin, not limited to Western & Southern Europe. Ligures among other Italic tribes are indeed of Celto-Germanic, Mediteranean or Illyrian (i.e. Albanian) cultures of the Centum/Indo-European linguistic family, but Albanian is in the Satem group along with Balto-Slavic, Armenian & Indo-Iranian. I'm not trying to be, but what I posted is somewhat controversial, alike all the theories on "Sicilian-Moor-Arab-African ethnogenetic links". +

  • The music is supposedly based on ancient European tribes, but the chants are reminiscent of Turkic & Siberian genres; and oddly, some seem to sound Semitic, or like east Asian & North American Indian. Ligures along with Etruscans are thought to be of Near Eastern or Central Asian origins, but ethnologists suggest the Ligures are very indigenous to Europe (not Indo-Iranian) & may share a relationship with the Basque people of northern Spain & southwest France, or the Georgians in the Caucasus. +

  • splendido video!!!!!!!

  • Belin! Celtoliguria nassione! Il resto al meridione!

  • @arianolumbard giusto

  • Well, ligurians are the base of occidental european genetic pool, it's thought they are the comon in the keltic halotipe.

1'5 million years ago the human being steped on Georgia the eastern Iberia 1'1 million years bc, that same protopaleolithic man is found in the western Iberia actual spain.

Hipothesis point that thru those 3 known human migrations due to glaciations ligurian grandgrandfathers kept safe(or just safer and issolated) in the iberian peninsulae then in warm ages they expanded

  • My four Maternal Great-Grandparents were Giuseppe Lucchesi from Bedizzano (MS), Toscana, Maria Cavallini from Livorno (LI), Toscana, Nicola Barella from Bugnara (AQ), Abruzzo, and Incoronata Giammarino from Morra De Sanctis (AV), Campania.

  • Very interesting! My Maternal Great-Grandparents were from Toscana, Abruzzo, and Campania. My one Great-Grandfather was from Provincia Di Massa-Carrara, and his surname "Lucchesi" derives ultimately from Ligurian Italic, from the city name "Lucca," which comes from Latin "Lucam" via Ligurian "Luk."

  • Celto-Ligurian? Sounds more like an American Indian tribal song.

  • @Nobeester Yes, sort've. It's a Wiccan song. It stands to reason that they must have had certain drums and chants during their seasonal ceremonies.

  • right, before fascism, mussolini to hitler:all italians are aryans till sicily thanx to longobards, then:we re all sons of rome, then anti-lega written school book,200 page on grecoroman, half page on kelts:barbarian conquered by rome,as france, britain, spain,ok conquered but the blood remain..

  • near my home is the hill dün(defenced hill by cenomans(belgic gaul),the town of treviolo(treviöl)comes from trivil(big town, celtic),and much more.comendun, diveded the low valley from the high,(down gauls, over retich(retia)

  • Some scholars refer to the citizens who resided under Langobard rule as "the Roman population." This is a clear clumsy catch-all phrase, based on the former administrative rule by Rome. Those were largely "Romanized Celts," not Romans. Whether Celts (Cenomani) or Alpines (Camunni), they were not Roman in blood.

  • even romans adopted a gallic wearing,caralla,i think,like bracae.romans took use by cisalp.kelts:dress,some gods?wood bottle for wine/beer,and militar uses,....

  • Thanks

  • IN LOMBARDY,WEST INSUBRES(insubres, biturigi, some retics(vennoni,etc..)in EAST CENOMANS whit subtribes of orobi on prealps, redones, ambivareti, from le mans zone.

  • It should probably be Insubria and Orobiia today. Lombardia should be in reference to the whole of Padania.

  • 0:35 KARNI, extreme north east. My people...

  • My family goes back to the Valle Camonica.... Camunni
