Equalizers are badass if you can get your hands on one. Revolvers are powerful, and having infinite revolver ammo means you can blow through any enemy. I got one on my Hunter in the same area, half as strong but with a capacity of 6. I have yet to find a replacement for it at level 41.

Does anyone know how many different types of alien weapons are in the game. I got a sniper that does about 800+ damage and I wanted to know if there were other types like pistols and stuff.

There's a sniper rifle type one, a shotgun type one (like OTG has) and uh...a rocket launcher type one, etc. I think that might be about it.
