I just realized when you were fighting in the cage you threw your grenades too high, when its in a close quarters throw low that way the grenades can go off and it the intended target. I know that this LP is long done but I felt like I had to make that comment. I remember dying at this part several times when I first played RE4 then I said "Screw it! I'm using a Rocket Launcher!" and I did XD

The best way to get out of the cage is to skip the cut scene when all the enemies run in and surround the cage, then throw a flash grenade to stun all of them and keep them in one place.Then you throw a regular grenade aimed low and towards the enemies so that you kill most of the enemies, the claw guy or whatever his name is gets stunned and the lock on the door gets blown off. Then all you have to do is kick down the door and you're home free. :-)

Lol the merchant reminds me of the librarian in symphony of the night. Then again, all the merchants sorta sound like that to me in about every game, sotn just happens to be the first one i remember with a talking merchant.

that cage part was hard but just open the cage with a couple of granades (green) then get the treasure and RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!!!!

=] You missed a spinel in that first room. It's on the top of the four-poster bed. You have to shoot it down.

Also, good job on making it through the cage without dieing once! That part is pretty difficult! Took me a couple tries my first playthrough...^^;

Krystal, when you get the opportunity, you *need* to get the Striker. When fully upgraded, the exclusive will give this shotgun a 100 round capacity. I think it opens up when you get to the island, but I'm not sure.

in the bedroom at the start you missed a treasure it is a item in the roof of the bed thingy above the mattress

you should've shot the cage open first, dealt with all the losers, then killed him with all the open space. much easier and you lose less health

I played the RE5 demo today Miss Kat.

Chris moves a little slower..his aiming speed is way down and....i dunno the controls feel heavier in general..i have a real hard time surviving more than a few minutes of combat..

you should definatly check it out if you can. it looks incredible.
