  • Hey Nice Vid... Does the case have good cable management? Thanks!

  • @JMO237 Yes, there is plenty of space to hide your cables, and couple of clips to keep them together (I haven't used them). Overall preety good.

  • does this fit a gtx 570?

  • Why the hell are you using a NVIDIA case with Radeon cards ?????

  • Why nvidea edition, because of the green, so my PC is an Intel edition because of the blue LEDs xS

  • WHY Do u need a fuckin CPU cooler that big??? Honestly wth!!

  • @beeftothetaco123 you call that big? I had one to, but not with green led and black copper. and it wasn't at all. Ive got a Zalman CNPS10X, and the dimensions on that is: 13.5(L)x10(W)x16(H) cm. and yes, bigger cooler, lower tempratures, but you can have a small cooler to and have low tempratures if you got good fans. Mine CNPS10X cool down my proccesor to 38c IDLE. Ive run on a Intel i5 750 overclocked to 3.6 Ghz from 2.6 GHz, i can overclock it to 4.2 Ghz, but i can not make it stable in games

  • Lets see You've got a good case, a awesome cooler, a somewhat good motherboard... Now you've got to change that old CPU! I recomend AMD Athlon II X4, it's basically a Phenom X4 without L3 Cache.

  • why is nothing lighting in my case???no fan is green or anything

  • I got a 650 w system and i 3 fans and 1 extra fan i buyed so i got 4 fans and i wonder i dont have any fan things left how do i get more fans cables?

  • Hello plz answer how can your bottom 120x mm dont touch the cables beacuse i have order a 120mm but all my cables are on the ground there ur 120mm is and i wonder how have u put all the cables behind plz answer me!!

  • @hassleholmstreetaren Hi mate, all the cables are hidden behind the backplate. You have to have PSU with very long cables to do that and use a lot of duck tape :)

    Good luck

  • @hassleholmstreetaren I'm Just gonna Touch base with you I have Photos of how i do it in my Cooler Master 690 nVidia Special Edition ATX Mid Tower Case An ill Be glad to show you

If you wanna see just reply back :3

  • There is a weird part in it..

You using a nVidia Edition Case, but in fact you have an AMD(ATI) card..

  • i'm using this chassi, and for some reason i can't close it ._. it's real annoying...

  • It's an "NVIDIA" edition case and you choose to use ATi?

  • nvidia case& ati graphic card omg!!!!!!!

  • what is the song?

  • does it has a dust filter covering those mesh and is the fan all stock green lit led?

  • @hellowsaw no there is no filters on mesh and there is only one green led fan

  • wat for cooler do you have?

  • check my cm 690

    /watch?v=R_V9U0HQdPc

  • it would sux to have an ati gaphics card in that case

  • Why mine case don't have LED fans ?

  • @hakera19973 lol he put those fans there himself rofl!!!! what kind of question is that man its obvious!

  • @hakera19973 He bought after-market fans and installed them. go to newegg.com and look at CPU Fans, make sure they are the right size, im sure those are 120mm (12cm) fans

  • Is that a Zalman 9700 or 9500 fan?

  • Its rly cool if you put on green LEDs and a XFX nVidia GTS 250 (those are green)

and i motherboard from nVidia it looks awesome from the inside and outside

  • ghandi000 please answer how does your bottom 120mm doesnt touch the plastic? i tried installing 1 120mm fan down there and right when it spins the fins on the fan touch the plastic. its even worse if i take off the other thing cuz thats when it touches metal and same goes for my top 120mm's they keep touching the metal from time to time any suggestions of fixing that?

  • Hi mate, hard to say why it is happening like that. I never had any problems with blades touching something.

Are u using stock Colermaster fan? (Mine is 120 mm Akasa) Try to move your fan on that black tray to find desire position when blades wont touch anything. If that doesn't help just get Akasa fan I guess.

Check my other videos maybe u will see something important.

    Good luck

  • @ghandi000 my CM stock fans are awesome, quite and super good performance. its the CM Green LED fans. when i opened them i realized that there was something on the blades it was uneven is it suppose to be like that?

i cant find any Akasa fans in any stores near me and even newegg.

if you can find some similar or good fans you know are good in stores like

    tigerdirect(DOT)ca

    and

    canadacomputers(DOT)com

    thanks

  • @ghandi000 hehe CoolerMaste V8 redness doesnt go with the nvidia edition case lol if theres a way replacing that id do it =) thanks for help ill get similar fans one day =D

  • @Zillerz3 make video maby i can help you

  • @Zillerz3 put in spacers to bring it further away from point of attachment, this is why i dont buy mid towrs, there isn't enough room.

  • @BMXboy00 never heard of Spacers before, ill try finding them in some stores Thanks for the idea!

  • what is the name of the song pls tell me

  • i got the cm 690 pure black edition case for my spare rig (spare rig has E6850 @ 3.6GHz, 4GB 1066MHz DDR2, 1TB, 500GB -seagates, Coolermaster 500W, Gainward GTX 260+, noctual real silent white no led fans. finally built

  • u took the NVIDIA logo off just because you was using ATI radeon card am i rite?

  • I wrote already. I'm NOT nVidia fanboy - I just like the coloer theme

  • hey... wow... ur wiring is so tidy... unlike mine... where do u chuck all the wires?... i tried to shaft the wires at the back of the casing but the wires is too short

  • All the cables are in the back of the case behind motherboard. Your PSU needs to heve really long cables to do it. It took me few hours to make it like that.

    Thanks for comment :)

  • AHAH i got a corsair 750W supply u got the 550W psu =D Same company bro!!

  • where is the nvidia logo???

  • I took it off

  • looks better without nvidia logo.

im making a 2nd gaming machine that will be completely stealth.

im replacing all the fans with white no led fans at lo-rpm, it will be quiet and stealthy :)

current pc has Core i7 920, GTX 280, 2.7TB of hdd's, 6GB dual channel ram. its in my channels vids :P

  • best way to have it as quiet as possible from what i know is liquid cool it, basically lol

  • my next project starting in january is going to consist of; i7 overclocked to 4.0ghz, 12gb of ddr3 corsair xms3 overclocked to 2000mhz, gigabyte mobo sli compatible with 2x nvidia xfx 300s when they come out!

  • sounds good :)

i myself dont want to get a GT300 series card as i have a GTX 280, and to keep up with that performance i just got a second GTX 280 :)

even if it is a little less powerful than a GT300 i wont upgrade for a year or two as im sure ym 2 GTX 280's should last me

  • how do you take off the top cover of the cm690

thinking of installing two more fans

  • pull off the front than pull off the top.

i installed 2 new silent no0led fans from noctua, they are real silent and do the job well :)

  • i am going to buy a new case can somebody tell me what is the difference between cm 690 and cm 690 nvidia edition ?

  • the non nvidia edition is all black, and it doesn't have the green stripes

  • they'r the same on my opinion except one for like nVidia fanboys (& girls lol) and the clean one is for like ATI if u dont like nVidia's "Greenness" lol the normal cm690 doesnt have the coloured stuff with green so it would probably cost less

  • yeah i think you should get a Nvidia card because Ati card is dont a good choice for this case xD

  • no, ati just have crappy drivers.

  • The case itself does not come with any green fan? No green light inside by default?

  • can u tell me what case fans ur using ...thanks

  • HI, I did change some stuff recently so now I've got 2 XTHERMAL BTF120PRO on the top(120mm ehaust), one stock coolermaster fan with green LED on the side (120 mm intake), 2 of akasa 120 mm green LED (one intake on the bottom and one ehaust on the back) and one non-LED intake on the front (stock coolermaster). I've got ona more 80mm non-LED between hard disks. Every fan at 650 rpm. Cheers

  • it looks like tons of room in that case, are cons to this case? im thinking of getting it....

  • Case is very good. Plenty of room, good airflow, heavy and stable, with window, nice trays for hdd, tool-less, PSU on the bottom and good looking as well. Only one thing is bad: power and reset button.

    Cheers

  • I have one, the cons are its green! I suggest you consider the standard cm690 (blue) before you buy.

Great case though, one of the best available for the money.

  • whats wrong with green?

  • Won't look great in my dining room, I wish I had got the blue one!

  • i have the same power supply

  • I don't blame him for a putting a ATI card in there, considering theyre selling sick cards for cheaper prices.

  • get some green cold cathodes xD

  • Nvidia case with ati stuff in it XD lalalaalall

  • where did u put the other 80mm the case only has 7 fan slots

  • It's between 2 hard drives...

  • he said bewtween hardrives but ou can always drill you own holes

  • is that a 140mm at the bottem

  • No, is just 120mm Akasa, but you can fit 140 as well.

  • hey if i wana buy a 295 gtx SLI

can you tell me which cooling kit is best for the 295 gtx SLI ?

  • Koolance water blocks.

  • is the only difference between this and the original model; green light+side window+nvidia logos etc and 1 less lef t side panel fan hole?

I am asking because I want to know; is there any performance difference? (better cooling maybe?)

  • Color theme is only diffrence - cooling is excactly the same I guess

  • did u chop off the "nvidia" logo off the front? if u did let me know how you did it lol. does it leave any residue?

  • Yes, I did. It was very easy to do it, becouse that glue wasn't very strong. It left small cavity of the size of the logo but you can hardly see it.

If you won't like it, you can put it back I reckon.

  • Nice case, I got the regular CM690. We have the same PSU :P

  • lol i have the same case with the tx 750

  • how did you make yours look so clean and everything. Mine is just like a huge cluster fuck

  • Hi, I spent over three hours attaching all the cables at the back of the motherboard. Plenty of cables from psu, fans, sata cables... it took a while but now you can see the effect.

  • yea, it looks really sweet. I love it. I want to do it, but I'm not a computer person so I'm afraid to take mine apart. I got my friends to do it for me.

  • i'm buying this case soon :p

  • dude the color is great nice job i'm so going to get that case :-)

  • thanks mate

  • 17,7 inch epc cable is enough for this case if i want to hide this cable behind motheboard?? i have oczmodxstream 600W

  • Hard to say to be honest. My EPS cable has 23,6 inch - so yours might be to short I'm afraid.

It still depends where exactly is that port situated on your motherboard.

  • no ur not

  • of course I'm getting it I'm just waiting to to finish school and then it will be part of my new PC

  • I lol'd at the 4850, but hey it's a nice case anyways if I had the money I would totally buy that Lian Li Armorsuit AMD Spider Case.

  • what the difference between this and the regular 690 ?

is it just the colour ? or extra cooling or wat

  • Hi, the only difference is colour of the two plastic and plexi buti t straight away comes with the side window (normal cm 690 doesn't).

  • ... you put an ati card in it??? and you have the nvidia edition cpu cooler??? why?

  • The answer is on the bottom of the page...

  • Please tell me who the music is from. Great shit.!!

pretty case, going to buy one.

  • That's Chemical Brothers - Song to the sirens. Thanks

  • What fans did you get with it? did they have green LED's? and is it worth putting green cathodes in?

  • HI, I did change some stuff recently so now I've got 2 XTHERMAL BTF120PRO on the top(ehaust), on of stock coolermaster fan with green LED on the side (intake), 2 of akasa 120 mm green LED (one intake on the bottom and one ehaust on the back) and one non-LED intake on the front (stock coolermaster). I've got ona more 80mm non-LED between hard disks. I didn't use cold cathodes at all. It's bright enaugh becouse of the 3 LED fans and zalman 9700NT.

  • did u put 4850 in it?? wtf nVidia and ATI dont mix :D

  • so wat its just a case and i want them to mix coz ATI has the better cards but nvidia has way better drivers

  • I'm not nvidia fanboy. I just buy what I like. Previous build was blue and now I decided to do green one and I don't care about mixing stuff... (except colours hehe)

  • I´am gonna build a computer and i gonna have that case. Realy nice:)

  • Yeah, looks nice and it's very cold inside aswel :)

  • get some ccl

  • you mean wcl (water cooling)?

  • no cold cathod ligts
