@johncar1us -- It is electrical conduit tubing I cut into 6 inch tall pieces, glued them onto the plywood, no metal was used. The pins are 6 inches apart, center to center, so the triangle is around that..
@johncar1us I see the 2x6 or is that 2x12 , how tall is the top? What kind of plastic did you use for the bottom release? Thanks, I got 2 and 1/2 inch pvc for the tubs. Thanks for the help.
@ZinGreen365 -- out of plywood, and cut holes, then put a border around it with a metal C-channel track for the plastic sheet to slide back and forth to release the pins.
@ima627bowler -- A friend of mine had it laying around in his garage, not sure where he got it....was scrap leftover from something and we cut it down to size..
Really good job on the lane. You should buy a Brunswick Mini Viz-A-Ball, they bowl a little better than the balls from Linds. They hook really well if you have a Formica laminate surface.
@TheOnehandedwonder --well first, it is hard to design without adding extra material on the sides of the walls and having the pins bouncing off that, and also I discovered I'd have to move the whole masking unit forward to be able to fit a sweep to have room for it to raise up. The screws are already filled in on the sides, but maybe someday if the engineering is figured out. It was not a money issue.
@woohoo2u1 --- I got the pins from the Linds Company on line. If you noticed, they say they only sell to bowling centers for the real pins, the mini pins are for anyone, but probably will sell the large pins to anyone also. You have to go to where it says mini pins on the site. Google Linds Mini Pins and it will take you there. The pins now are $69 for a set of 10, and the balls are $15 each. The whole lane with materials was around $1,000
where did you get the pins from

johncar2us 2 months ago
@johncar2us 2 3/4 Inches for the inside diameter of the tube, and 2 7/8 inches for the outside diameter. I don' have holes in any sheet metal..

How big are the tubes for the pins and how tail. Did you use sheet metal and what are the measurements of the triangle that you made. Thanks.
