OK, Jordan had support, but don't exaggerate! Harper was so so, Longley was plain lousy. Wennington as well. Pippen was great, Rodman only D, Kukoc while arguably being best European at that time was a little too soft but anyway a great player. Only Kerr should be mentioned from the rest of the guys. This is by far lower quality than Kobe has now or had in the past with Shaq. But yes, he didn't win by himself, and moreover, he rarely vanished like Kobe does at times.

Players today dont even play as hard. Jordan would get AT VERY LEAST 35-40 ppg today.
Example----Look at when Jordan played for the Wizards in the 2000s. The defenses he played against were the same as today. If an almost 40 year old Jordan after a 3 year layoff can average 20 some ppg against todays modern defenses, imagine what a 25-30 year old MJ could do!!!!

I forget what game it was but Jason Williams made the mistake of trying to hand check John Stockton by putting his hand on his hip. Stockton did the same thing that MJ did and the ref called Williams for the foul. Was funny seeing that.

Cmon guys lol he wasnt fat it was the outfit, look at his calfes they are still thin and his arms and dont say the fat only went to his quads and belly coz he always was in great shape, everyday he does his workout and cardio... I thought he looked fat too but because he tucked his shirt in it was overhanging and traping sum air up there. MJ is too smart to let himself go like that, cmon guys :)

OK, Jordan had support, but don't exaggerate! Harper was so so, Longley was plain lousy. Wennington as well. Pippen was great, Rodman only D, Kukoc while arguably being best European at that time was a little too soft but anyway a great player. Only Kerr should be mentioned from the rest of the guys. This is by far lower quality than Kobe has now or had in the past with Shaq. But yes, he didn't win by himself, and moreover, he rarely vanished like Kobe does at times.

anyone like me who hs watched kobe and jordan play has to be blind to think kobe is better. The difference is that Kobe takes over the 4th quarter Jordan used to take over GAMES AND SERIES!!!!! Kobe is the closest thing to jordan and they aren't even on the same level. The other difference is Kobe got surrounded by allstars and won championships, Jordan got surrounded by average players and not only won championships but made those players look like hall of famers.

@DjBobbyLosAngeles Really?! Are you serious??? That would take away the jump shot all together. Nobody would have to play defense at all. Just stand Yao or somebody by the goal, and when the shot goes up just jump up and get it. I'm 6'1" and I could do it. Imagine the pros being permitted to goal tend... The only way to score would be to dunk it. That's not basketball. If you just want to see dunks, watch the dunk contest.

big reason y i stopped playing ball. i was nvr gifted with offensive talent but i could play defense and a big part of it was hand checking. played last year and ppl kept calling fouls for lil things like that. miss the old nba rules

No zone defenses???? You ever hear of the Pistons Bad Boys teams by chance? Thats what I thought. Not only did they played zone defense but they wanted to also PHYSICALLY beat you senseless. Today is a soft era---players in Jordans era were allowed to hand check, defenses were a MILLION times more physical, fundamentally sound, and defenses contested shots a MILLION times more compared to todays NBA. Players today dont even play as hard. Jordan would get AT VERY LEAST 35-40 ppg today.

Example----Look at when Jordan played for the Wizards in the 2000s. The defenses he played against were the same as today. If an almost 40 year old Jordan after a 3 year layoff can average 20 some ppg against todays modern defenses, imagine what a 25-30 year old MJ could do!!!!
