this is a relly good wiiware game its only 10 bucks....i love stratigey games and this is a great 1........but if u dont like stratigey KEEP AWAY FROM THIS GAME also there is barly a story in it.....but i dont relly care

I don't want to talk down this new version as it is good the franchise gets revived (after all I love the game)... but while you can't help the fact how games these days must have long animated battle scenes to wow the viewer, I feel they don't add to this game, they just draw it out.

Anyone remember Nectaris for the PS1? It had annoyingly long battle scenes. Hell, even those in Neo Nectaris felt too long compared to those in the very first game.

Actually HansHackfress, the PS1 version was the best Nectaris game ever. The "long battles", which were 3D animations, could be turned off in-game, so it would be more text-based and faster.

Also, I think this game will be bad. Why? Well...just look at it. It looks nothing like Nectaris. Sure they copy the names of the units and use the same hex and turn base elements...but....I don't know. By the looks of the trailer, it doesn't have the feeling of Nectaris, more like Red Alert 3.

Okay, I didn't actually play the PS1 game myself (I know it has a lot of additional maps) but yeah, in most "later" versions you had the option to turn battles off. But in my opinion the best Nectaris is the "bastard child" PC-DOS version as it has not only new maps but also new units. I have some videos for that game in my channel.

I agree with this new version, feels weird. They should have added a bit more new content, not make just mostly a re-hash.
