We got 2 inches of snow this year in southern Texas... first time in my life time. There was a time when I wondered how anyone could insist Global warming was some sort of hoax, but I understand now that such things are only said in complete ignorance. I live in the south in the USA, where every summer is hotter and longer, and every winter is shorter and warmer than the one before. @3hitnu11 If you would kindly do yourself the favor of doing any research on meteorology, you would come to understand that weather systems (localized and global) operate on temperature and pressure differentials! Increased heat in certain areas means increased COLD in others due to the pressure/temperature differentials. The seasons will stay the same for the most part (for now), but we will continue to witness incrementing extremes.

Global warming maybe happening due to the ice melting at the poles of planet. A warmer planet means more plant growth. The more plant growth you have the more energy plants can capture and produce oxygen. A warmer planet is a good thing. Oxygen is the free fuel that no one talks about. If the oxygen level was being depleted, I would be worried. You don't hear that. All energy production(except nuclear) and animal life needs oxygen. Cutting CO2 emissions to save the planet is a joke.

I know that the ice is melting at the poles of the planet. I have heard that on mountains where snow accumulates, the snow line is moving up the mountains. To me, this is evidence that there is something going on. I don't think its bad. A small variation in the radiation coming from the sun could throw temps out of wack. There are lots of variables and they are always changing. That makes it impossible to nail one cause of for global warming.
