  • HI, great vid. just a couple of small... and i mean very small tips to improve on your video.

    1. Dont leave your bike on the race/paddock stand to drain the oil, about 125-150ml is left sitting in the bottom of the sump when on the race stand. Put bike down on normal side stand to drain once the flow on the race stand has stopped and more old oil will come out.

    2. Dont use the old oil to lubricate the new filter... use the new oil to do that.

Other than than that, great vid!

  • You should try out BelRay synthetic oil. It will make your bike run 5-10 degrees cooler. And when you run the bike before your oil change, the oil will not get hot enough to burn you!

  • mobile 1 synthetic for all street bikes!

  • ahhh Me Love You LONNNNNNNG TIME

  • Hot mechanic :-)

  • Chain da oil?

  • sexy

  • Castrol GTX is considered one of the best non-synthetic motor oils. Being labeled a "bike oil" doesn't make it better. with that said. it's a general recommendation that if your vehicle (regardless of how many wheels) regularly uses synthetic oil, you should stick with synthetic.

  • @minkis18 If it says JASO-MA on its API certification badge it can be used in you motorcycle. 10W-40 is the typical weight unless otherwise noted. Synthetic Oil is not necessary.

  • HEY SHE CAN CHANGE MY OIL

  • Do you have to change the oil filter EVERYTIME you change the oil itself? If not, how long should that be replaced?

  • @VaporVII I always change the filter every time i change the oil. if you have to do it like that or not, I am not sure. But that is the way I do it :-)

  • @VaporVII yeah! every time, whats the point in changing the oil if you arent changing the filter?? they go hand in hand!

  • Holy fuck I'd like to have a go on that.

  • I always got missed gears with castrol gtx. I switched to Mobil 1 in my cbr..no more missed gears....seems like the castrol breaks down to fast in these small high reving engines.

  • @greenmarine5 interesting, thank you for that information

  • Thank you for posting the video.... I'm going to buy all the stuff needed to change my oil, tomorrow (Saturday) morning..... CBR600rr ATLanta rider...

  • did she just turn the nut clockwise??

  • wow, super hot lol ;-)

  • is it mandatory to change the oil filter when changing the oil or just a recommendation?

  • @june408 its not manditory . but i would never run clean oil through a dirty filter. if ur going to use the same filter . make sure u replace the filter every other oil change i supppose

  • @xxdarkfury0xx and the filters are almost always paper so they weaken and could loose some pieces

  • is that a military decal that i see on the bike?

  • @megageth89 yeah pretty sure its Navy

  • i can tell u live in san diego :)

  • very helpful... i sure wont b goin to the garage now lol... thanks love... love the dogs coat aswell!

  • Irene - Do many Women like and ride bikes in Spain because in the UK British women just want guys to earn decent money, move in together, get married, pay the mortgage and for kids and do as your told and watch shitty soaps, sell the bike get a family car or they complain and screw u over in divorce. I need to meet more European Women as british women suck - i'm in the wrong country -

You ride a nice bike - make an effort to maintain and look after it - and enjoy life - fair play :)

  • Castrol 4T bike oil is only $4.00 a quart and that bike only needs about 3 quarts. So ther you go for $12.00. I know that Castrol car oil 5W-30 goes for about $14.00 to $17.00 so how do you save money?

  • U should do a video how to clean n lube the chain. Also tips to maintain a bike.

  • how much oil this bike recomend?

  • Can you come to canada, so we can ride together and get married?

  • I get that people are telling her to use the proper oil, however she does say that she doesn't go to race tracks where she needs the bike to be at it's best. Personally i pay the money because i want my bike in tip top condition but if she doesn't then thats a personal choice.

  • What brand of motorcycle stands do you recommend?

  • NEVER...NEVER USE CAR OIL ON A BIKE. You 'll burn the clutch. You 'll pay the parts and your mechanic. Cause I 'm sure that you wont be able to fix it by yourself. So next time read the manual.

Every bike has wet clutch. Except Ducati 's.

  • @Korafat which oil is the best for yamaha r1

  • @usman964 I have no idea. Check your owners manual. Ask your local YAMAHA dealer. Never use auto oil in your engine. R1 is a racing bike so you should use FULL synthetic..

You better check any YAMAHA/R1 forum

  • Gorgeous, rides a superbike and knows how it works......why aren't there more like you?

  • The heat made from spinning that engine at 12-18k rpms will shear that car oil to bits in 2 laps! lol By lap 3 your metal on metal by lap 4 you'll hear a loud pop and you'll see tons of smoke form the back of the bike.

  • Love ya to death Irene but your not useing the proper oil for the bikes. That car oil is not rated to be used with a wet clutch. You stated that you never had any problems!

Irene how many cars you know of that have a 15-18k redline?

Take that bike to the track where you will be up @ the red zone for extended periods. I'll bet you'll have a problem then. You were sayn its cheaper than motorcycle oil. yeah it is. But a engine for a liter bike cost way more than oil.

  • I want to change the oil on my bike

  • luv ur accent xD

  • Thats one hot accent!!

  • and actually if you change the oil with the engine slightly warm it will help you so actually remove as much oil from the motor before putting the new oil. Since cold oil does not move as well as hot oil, and you can wear heat resistant gloves.

    good video!

  • hispanic mechanic is hot! lol

  • you r hot!!!i saw de whole video onli 4 u

  • nice work, respect :-)

  • YOu used the pump pliers the wrong way at 11:45

  • You really should be wearing some kind of protective gloves while doing any kind of lubrication maintenance..... doing it without could cause skin cancer !!!!!!!!!

  • @GASPIPE1959 Thanks, I will try it next time ;-)

  • @GASPIPE1959 That's utter bullshit... Changing the oil every few months and getting a few drops on you (that you clean off afterwards anyway) won't give you skin cancer.

Otherwise every mechanic under the sun would have cancer... And no, not all of them wear gloves...

  • @GASPIPE1959 seriousally?

  • irene.. el proximo video que sea de como limpiar una cadena. estoy un poco mareado sobre opiniones al respecto. dime la tuya!. buen video!.

  • great how to video, check out my little project 600 gsxr srad, its my first sportsbike and i love it.

  • THANK U THANK THANK U,,,,,,,,,,,,,YOU MY FRIEND JUST TEACHED ME HOW TO CHANGE MY OIL ON THE SAME BIKE!!!!!!!!! =D

    THANKS

  • LOLOLOLOL are you using regular engine oil for a car?!

You do know your R1 has a wet clutch a required special oil for proper operation..... right?

  • @GTAdc5r We always had used this oil. It is cheaper that bike oils. And never, never we had problems with our bikes. Suzukis, Hondas, yamahas.... :-)

  • lovely bikes , and clearly cared for. good job

  • Nice video and very well presented

At 11.21 you are using the pipe grips the wrong way around which is why you had trouble undoing the cap. The teeth are designed to grip the other way.

Well done and the best of luck with your biking.

  • Whats the most complicated repairs you do yourself before going to a motorcycle mechanic?

  • @MrDeathstyle I personally go to the mechanic only for complex engine repairs, but that hasn´t happened yet. When I don´t know how to do something, I just ask my husband and he teaches me how to do it ;-)

  • 05:16, oil does'nt look all that bad. Clearly a properly serviced bike!

  • Hottest mechanic EVER ;-)
