There was a time in my life when I watched this every day. I mean literally every single day. The part when he turns and looks at the audience....Whoa, that used to blow my mind. There is some unspoken connection the animator seemed to make with the audience...I don't know, but this animation speaks to my soul like few other things in the world do.
I lived in Japan but didn't see this till I moved back to the states in 93. I saw it after my first sleep in 6 days (I was young and using bad stuff). My mind being in a weird place at the time combined with this amazing anime to make an unforgettable memory. Thanks for putting this on Ytube .
I adored this film since i was 12 back in 93 when i saw it on TBS with other cool cult adult animation flicks like Heavy Metal, American Pop, Rock and Rule and Vampire Hunter D, they ruled my world.
Lol its funny how not so many ppl know where this is from....or know anything about Saturday Anime on the Sci Fi channel ever so long ago...(which is were I first saw robot carnival among other anime)
thanks for uploading this in HD. the only thing is the music is a little bit early compared to the video. the transitions in the audio definitely compliment the flowing transitions of the artwork. just saying ;) nonetheless, thanks again for sharing this masterpiece.
great animation. Do you draw by hand and scan or do it all on the computer? I can't draw worth beans no matter what, so I'm facinated by those who can. :)
@AvidffanAlpha I already tried to install the program some time ago. It didn't seem to work at that time on pc because of my pc runs on vista. But next week when I've got more time, I shall have another look at it.
@AvidffanAlpha I think I reacted on the wrong comment under the wrong video. It was an reaction to a comment where you said something about that animator you use, and that it doesn't work on vista. I don't understand why I placed here...
