  • awesome!

  • I'm glad too hear a different tone of voice and melody, instead of that generic sound you hear from most female singers.

  • thanks!

  • @leonardibaby

for you or anyone who would like to know how to play

    It's 3 chords

for the first one place your middle finger on the first string (low E) on the fifth fret, index finger on the 2nd string fourth fret, and pinky on the 3rd string on the 7th fret. Its essentially an A power chord with the middle not being lower. then its c sharp and E.

Remember to plug in your electric and turn the volume all the way up.

Also, I like this but it sounds so much better on electric

  • I was positive she was a guy.

  • @endowell Hell Yeah!

  • i love that raspy voice. Great performance.

  • Her voice completely throws your off. But in a good way

  • this song soundds eerilly similar to 'where is my mind' by the pixies

  • u know its not surprising that this is so. just earlier today i heard a couple of songs that sounded very similar to old classics i know. but there are so many ways to mix chords that your bound to find songs that sound similar.

  • No it doesn't. Where is your mind?

  • i love the the pixies,it's only similar for a moment

  • i like it for one, the song is cool, but the best part is Erika's passion in the song

and it's not just this song but the rest of her music

  • this song makes me feel good =)

  • Gibson Blueridge,isn't it?looks like one...

  • Great!

  • I thought the singer was an Irish guy at first.

    She is awesome.

And the steel on the album? Holy Moley.

  • Nice — I always felt most Heartless Bastards songs are all about Erika's vocal performances and less about the instrumental accompaniment -- and this video really just drives that home.

  • spot totally agreeable, they're awesome though

  • I love this woman.

  • Haha its a girl! But still I love this song.Too bad people dont know about The Heartless Bastards.Their music isn't as mean as they sound.:)

  • What kinda guitar is she playing? it looks like a yamaha

  • blows me away

  • Oh my gods - the best vocals ever.

  • Seriously had no idea a woman was singing this song. Great song, unique voice.

  • Her voice it hypnotizing.... I love it... gives me butterflies :)

  • what do you think of her vocals? i think unreal! is it some kind of old-timey bluegrass kind of thing? pretty amazing.

  • I love her.
