Ahhh!!! The 90s...The last generation to be a kid. This was when cartoons, movies, videogames, and almost everything was good. Now, kids have friggin' facebooks and cellphones and also, the way you talk to people back then was if you either called them or just knocked on their door.
Back then, they thought that owning an encyclopedia would turn you into a doctor. Now, we have the internet, which has WAY more information on it than an encyclopedia ever could, and it's mostly used for masturbating and watching 15 year old commercials.
Oh my..the 90's (I was born in 1991 so im half and half with remembering these commercials.) What a time..Yakback, Tomigatchi, Beastmachines, Power Rangers, Cartoon Cartoons, Adventures of Pete & Pete, All That, The real Kids WB..u guys know which one(im talkin Heavy Duty Dubbas era on Sat morning bitch hah)
@SuperAdventures Today, my "Yakbak" is a Sony voice recorder I use if I interview someone ; ) To this day we still don't know how you Cram that Graham in Golden Grahams. I always wanted to walk on that Headline News circle. Incidently, 06:27 is a replacement piece for that Encyclopedia Commercial, I think they did that because Nickelodeon aired a different commercial and Turner probably did this as a way to keep up with them. I always thought 06:12 was the "Wonder Years" mother. It might be.
born in '87...growing up in the 90's was the shit, wish i woulda been a bit older during that decade but still..great times and great memories. yall remember that voice recorder from home alone lol
Weird to think that some of the people in the Murrah Bombing might have seen one/some of these before going to work that day in April.
Too bad I'm a 00's kid! Born in 94! Shame... I feel like everything from 90-97 fits me perfect! Grunge, G-funk, the emergence of the internet, thick glasses, Playstation 1 in 95, 2nd wave emo/punk, plaid shirts.. The last period before kids were fully emerged in the internet... All of it. Damn.
@KingOfTheClutch Well, it's been 15 years already, that's a decent amount of time. Reminiscing about 2005 on the other hand.....that wasn't too long ago!
@SuperAdventures lol that IS true, 93-97 were my favorite years as a kid.
I remember ALL of these........I guess I don't want to admit that i'm getting old?
I'm 23 (about 7 during the airing of these commercials) I do appreciate you posting them, gives me a chance to remember the old days, strange to some maybe, but, yea......thanks.
we were so lucky to be kids in the 90's, we were the last generation that got to just ride bikes and play outside, and if we wanted to find someone we had to go knock on their door or look for them. Also we had original nintendo and super nintendo.
Pshh....I don't remember anything I ever learned from reading an encyclopedia britannica, but I can practically remember the commercial word for word......Thanks television!!!
Ah yes, The Juice is Loose, Gotta Have My Pops, and Peanut Butter Crunch. Also, when AOL was just plain ole America Online b4 they decided 2 shorten it. I miss these old times. They don't make commercials like this anymore. These commercials had quality. I remember I used 2 daydream the starburst, corn pops, and peanut butter crunch tv ads while in school. I was in the 3rd grade. Times go by so quickly. I can't believe it's 15 years later.
