Ok, if there were no hijacked planes, what happened to the planes that left Boston that morning and the people on them? Are you saying the government hired kamikaze pilots to fly them into the towers?

The towers were brought down by the fires, which were started by the planes (full of fuel) exploding when they plowed into them at 500 mph, and they were further fueled by flammables in the building. The heat from the fires weakened the steel structure and the buildings came down.

I'm not gonna keep going back and forth with this...it's like mud wrestling with a pig and won't accomplish nothin. It's true the aluminum is not as strong as the steel and concrete. But you have to account for the speed. I'm no physicist, but if the plane flew into something solid, like a cliff, yeah, it would disintegrate on impact. When the planes hit the towers, the towers WEREN'T solid. The steel and concrete had room to move (inside the building), resulting in the gash in the side.

I never said the government has never done some underhanded stuff (I was always a little suspicious about Building #7 and its collapse...but that may have been because it was burning for seven or eight hours unchecked), but I think 9/11 was more of a failure of intelligence than any kind of inside job. There were warning signs that were never heeded.

The small collateral damage and fires of building seven could not cause it to collapse, let alone in near perfect symmetry, and in 6.5 to 7 seconds. The truth of the matter is that the heat form the random fires would have been conducted away in all directions by the matrix of columns, girders, and beams. Like a giant heat sink. The steel would never have come close to its failure temperature - even in twenty hours of burning.
