i have the esky belt cp and i crash it so i upgrade to metal!!
the problem i have is the tail is going to the right all the time i have esky profesional gyro so i bought the new esky gyro but still the same(i can say better) when i give power so the heli will fly is turning like HELL arround and to the right i have done everything from gyro and transmitter so it will turn but i cant any help PLEASE
what about a FP nine eagles kestrel 500sx?! it keeps turning to the left..... what is wrong with it? i trimmed all the way to the right but still keeps on going to the left..... it crashed.... but not that hard though... PLEASE HELP!! alishanmao...
When I launch my heli it spins around....I can balance it but when I try to go back or forward it starts to spin again!I can balance it only for some seconds!
Is there something wrong.?..just unboxed it and I can't find any problems
plz help
I can't see a vid for some reson so help me by reply
I have a problem with my classima 300 it makes a lound screeching sound when the blades spin and when they dont spin you can hear the buzzing from the motor. plz help
This is exactly what i need. My heli (hk450) keeps spinning quite fast before (head always rotate to the left, like about 40% stick). I adjust the tailboom to make more tention on the belt. Thanks Ali.
My Head Lock works fine, but my normal mode still keep rotate to the left (slowly, like about 2% or 3% stick). My tail blade pitch already at 0 degree. Do I just pull out the tailboom a bit more or better just set the pitch to counter act the main blade? Please advise. Thanks.
I would like some help with my Belt cp v2 with buzzflyer gyro. My problem is that the tail is very unstable and will not hold. I have been trying to fly the heli but my rudder stick has to be jammed hard left (i reversed the belt so servo has more movement, another problem?). When the tail has 0 pitch the heli spins round uncontrollablbly but i can slow it down alot but it still spins. Do i need a new gyro and servo? Also please talk me through how to set up the tail servo so i wont spin! Thks
@298linx well as explained in this video, set the tail servo first. making sure tail rotor is on 0 pitch. now set the gyro gain to high and see if it holds the tail. also set the delay to 0 as you are using a digital servo (ESKY) and increase the limit. also check if gyro is in headlock mode or not. check if it works, else get a new gyro.
@alishanmao Rudder rotors should never be set at 0 degrees pitch, the purpose of the tail rotor is to provide anti torque keeping the heli flying in a striaght line, when the main rotors spin the tail wants to follow in the same direction, to prevent this the tail rotor should be set 3-7 degrees in the opposite direction, the exact number of degrees is dependant on the length of the tail blades in relation to main blades e.g. longer main blades require more pitch at the tail, this is anti torque

Wouldn't some positive pitch be better when the rudder stick is at the center?
Then you would have some initial right (nose) turning thrust when the rotor spins up. If you have zero pitch I would think that the gyro would have to work more to keep the heli and also you would get less right turning movement. But I'm a newbie and might be wrong :)
If you have a head holding gyro, no trimming should be nessesary if the gyro works as it should. Or am I wrong here too?
@Frobard You think too much. just do what is shown. as I said, later when you fly heli, you will need to adjust trims for positive or negative pitch of tail blades depending on heli behavior
thanks i will do that...one thing when i am in idle up my heli stays about foot of the ground. When i am 100%on the stick it acts like something is holding it .All of it is 0 out.I have ask people and no one seam to help me.
@vfatnuts hey, i had a similar problem.. I found out that the switches under my batteries were set wrong because I had changed them over for my sim, but forgot to put them back. Have a look and see if its the same with your transmitter. :)
thanks Ali!! you did a great job of explaining!!! now my belt cp is flying smoothly.

@298linx Have you checked that gyro is in headlock mode. I had to reverse the gyro gain pot on my transmitter now it works fine.

Hey ali, scotty here, thanx bro, my heli started doing this recently, and it was ticking me off cause it was very unstable during take off. :)

nice tips
this can potentialy happen to any belt driven heli so these tips might sort out other issues on other brands which have a similar set up
i had this issue on the blade 400 where the tail would spin intermittenly it turned out the belt was too slack,
it helps to check the mechanics before electronics as if it worked before then the chance its mechanical not electrical at fault :)
puggster 1 year ago
@puggster Yup, you gotta make sure everything is in good working condition before flying

@vfatnuts Your Pitch curves are set wrong probably :) check and set them to linear pitch curves.
