I have to say, Code Geass makes its supernatural powers make more sense, and if you think about it, if Light and Lelouch switched powers then they would have no problem with their goals at all. Also, you have to aknowledge the epic jump-rope Lelouch plays with insanity, while Light kinda drowns in it. Plus the fact that all that getting the Geass did for Lelouch was speed up his plans, albeight at a very fast rate.

@DDP117 umm if lelouch and light switched power, it would be completely different, the death note, and geass are not similar in any way at all. the death note can't use mind-control(which is vital to lelouch as fuel is for cars), and geass can't kill people unless your looking them in the eye and commanding them to die(which would completely ruin lights plans).

@zelpyzelp I'm not saying the plan would work, but they would have much better control over what they could accomplish. For example, Lelouch could write that "After doing *this* and doing *this*, *so-and-so* dies by *cause*" And Light could walk right up to L or any law enforcement to tell them to do whatever he wants, or criminals, etc. He doesn't need to hide his Identity as much as Lelouch did. And with the note Lelouch could work his magic from a distance.

Geass was 50x better than deathnote could ever hope to be simply because deathnote absolutely blew from the second season onward. Deathnote hooks you, gets you to watch it none stop for the first 24 episodes and then turns into a shit stain. First season of deathnote was on par with geass though.

@Horrorlord1 In fact, it's the complete opposite. Death Note is one of the most underrated animes in recent records. Code Geass isn't overrated either, but Death Note is way better; better character design, better animation, realistic plot, realistic events. Unlike Code Geass. Don't get me wrong, I love this anime, but Death Note is just a bit better.

@Horrorlord1 "Unrealistic" does not make anything good either. And "realistic" doesn't necessarily have to be "boring". If you can't think of a good plot without going haywire on the imagination, then I'm afraid you're imagination level is very, very weak. Death Note has a plot most people can understand and connect with, whereas Code Geass has certain times where you're like "how the fu*k is that possible?". It's not a question of boredom, it's a question of storyline.
