  • As Macy's slowly and inexorably goes broke trying to capitulate to EVERYBODY who walks through their doors, and hires people because they're afraid of ethnic backlash. 'Bye, Macy's. Thanks for a few great years.

  • So, you're basically happy to discover that Macy's Corporation is OWNED and RUN by homosexuals, transvestites, transgenders and "cross-dressers"--that IS the bottom line, right? Has nothing to do with the products or services they offer--it's all about THEM telling YOU, "Hey, come on in, we're with YOU all the way." It's getting harder to find a decent place to shop. ;])

  • She is extremely crazy and ignorant, but this is what Christianity do to a person. =/

  • I'm trans and I'm glad (sane, non-bigoted, cool) people like you exist! :)

  • So this crazy bitch has a history of bigotry, doesn't surprise me.

  • Man, this makes me feel bad for this girl more than anything. Glad that Macy's stood up for us (I'm a trans man, myself) but living in a state of self loathing like that is.. well, it's a really sorry place to find yourself in. I don't wish it on anyone.

That said, it's really not cool for you to out her like that. Especially considering you aren't queer.

  • @Taumpy seeing as she tells people I'm not outing her. everyone already knows

  • @jessicalynnstrom The world did not know. She has not been saying this in interviews. Maybe she would. That's her call. But now the spotlight's on her and I got to this video from a link in a very well read LGBT blog. You're straight. You will never ever understand what she's going through. Us queers appreciate that you're our ally, and I mean that sincerely. But it's just not your place to call her out for this particular hypocrisy.

  • @Taumpy Taumpy, please don't presume to speak for all of "s queers." It's not *you* place to speak for anyone else, either.

  • @christineglamazon you mean you don't appreciate straight allies? :( well, you're right that is your perogative.

  • @jessicalynnstrom I didn't know. This is a major news story, so you're not just outing her to people who are already within her circle.

  • Good riddance.

But "Gay" and "Transgender" and "Transsexual" are NOT the same thing.

  • I also went to school with her at SAC. I also live by here. I'm not sure if she lives in my neighborhood or the next one over but I see her quite a bit on the VIA bus. I always knew she was off.

  • @Enigma1986 ya she's a bit off.

  • Hey, I am curious about the part with the Campus Police stopping her. Why did she get violent? What words were exchanged for that to happen? Did you guys report her for the harassment of the Gala?

  • @nakomiah yes there was in incident report filed. she started to push some of the students in the group and another student not affiliated with the club called campus police.

  • I agree!!!!

  • Thank you for your response to my video. Religion does not need to play a factor into this, it holds up without it. Jessica, where does this stop. Can a man who claims trans go to a women's showering area? I would appreciate your input on this slippery slope. Sorry to hear you're so hateful towards her, though.. she is the hateful one? Men should not go into women facilities.

  • @17Patriot87 idk what dressing rooms/ showers you go into but all of mine have doors with locks, and in fact many small stores have unisex changing rooms... if it makes someone uncomfortable they are not forced to change there.

  • @17Patriot87 The bottom line is that several states have had public accomodation policies on the books allowing trans women to use women's facilities for years. And yet, not once has there been an incidence of a man using the law as a loophole to harrass women. Not one case. And you know what? If a man did this, he would not be able to claim he was a trans woman, and therefore it's okay. Men are not allowed to sexually harrass other men in the men's room, for instance.

  • @17Patriot87 "slippery slope" is a refuge for people with no real argument for their case, at least an argument that doesn't sound 100% bigoted. Do you even know any trans people or are you just projecting your fantasies onto an entire group of people?

  • @17Patriot87 "MEN" yes, transwomen are NOT men. We are women with a horrible birth defect (that sadly we have to go through hell to take care of)

Think of it this way, if one day you woke up, and you had boobs, and a vagina, what would you do (after you spent a few minutes freaking out, and about an hour playing with them) Remember, you are a "girl" now, so no more sports, you gotta wear bras, tight panties, and the rest. How would you deal with a mind and body that conflict? Hmm?

  • Macy's totally did the right thing here. They have a company policy, and they would look like hypocrites to allow this woman to go on any further encouraging her bigotry and hatred.

I feel terribly for the transgendered woman that was denied human rights. I also can't help but feel angry that for some reason people are assuming that transgendered people are cross-dressers and/or pedophiles. These are nowhere near the same thing. Natalie agreed to follow company policy. She didn't and got fired.

  • While I encourage debate I want to make it clear that if I see any words like f*g or anything else of that nature I will remove the comments. I will also block the user and report them to YouTube. If you don't agree with my views that's fine. Just keep it clean. That goes for both sides. Thanks guys! Have a great day!

  • nice video, subbed ya cause its always nice to have people like you in our corner.

  • Yeah she has made many comments in various Facebook groups about how she was saved from her lesbian feelings by her religion. She does go on tirades about how being a homosexual is evil. I think the best quote I can give from her is "if you lust after the same sex, even if you haven't engaged in the sex act, your guilty of homosexuality."

  • Jessica,

Most of this video was about an event that happen at your college. If your allowed to be pro gay or pro trans gender that is you right. However it is her right to be anti gay or anti trans gender.

When will people learn that freedom of speech is not one sided.

  • @LEOJULY241981 - It's not her right to refuse to obey her employer's policy. The point of the video is this woman is a nutcase and a hypocrite. While that is not against the law, it makes her seem a lot less reasonable. And BTW, discrimination is not "speech" it is an action.

  • @christineglamazon Again my comment was not about Macy's. My comment was about the Gala Event that Jessica spoke of..

  • @LEOJULY241981 except that the girl who got fired is the same person...pay attention.

  • @jessicalynnstrom Attention was paid Darling. This video made it seem as if she was wrong for both events. The only event where some may feel she was wrong is the recent event. You only brought up the Gala event to further embarrass this lady for her Anti-LGBT which was her right. The only thing this lady did wrong was open her mouth at Macy's. As far as your event she did nothing wrong but your implying she did.............

  • @LEOJULY241981 seeing as campus police had to be called because she was becoming violent...yes she did do something wrong. again pay attention.

  • @LEOJULY241981 it her her right to believe what she want's however when those opinions clash in the workplace you have to go by company policy. If you don't like the policy then find somewhere else to work.

  • @jessicalynnstrom My comment had nothing to do Macy's. I was just speaking upon the event that took place at your school. You seem to be upset with this young lady more so from the GALA event & now feel some form of happiness by her lack of employment.

  • Just one thing- not all transgender people are gay. Part of our fight for equal rights is a little different. Other than that- great video! Sad to say that JC Penney didn't treat their employee the same last year when this happened to me. I got an apology from corporate and a gift card for 50 bucks.

  • @saxschmo That's true I should have included that, maybe if i had scripted out something I would have thought to include it. sorry! Well hopefully if this story gets more attention other cooperations will change their polices.

  • Thanks for this video, the stories around this have been flying about and I take a lot of comfort in knowing a bit more of the story behind it. And hey, I went to UTSA for a while back in the day. Woot!

  • Trans girl here who's been following this whole Macy's debaccle. Don't want to sound catty or anything but ZOMG that's such delicious dirt! :D

  • are yu kidding not a true trans person would do such a thing more like a straight perv would

  • Way to go Macy's..still i feel a little sorry for natalie. I know what its like to have no friends. it hurts and i can only imagine that she must hurt too!! You did the right thing by being kind to her. perhaps someday she will come out and be happy....:)

  • @mirandaluc I hope so too

  • Tomorrow I will buy a camera throw on a dress claim to be transgender and secretly record people changing even little girls actually I would never do such a thing but you just left the door for any pedophile nut job to that and much more imagine some man in a dress next to your daughter wife or whatever doing god knows what

  • @Myworldgonewild your missing the point

  • @Myworldgonewild don't use ignorance to discriminate . there has never been not 1 case of a trans person doing anything of the sort u also never hear of a man dressing up to tape or film or look at anyone in a dressing room the only time ive seen that happen is with regular men who look and dress like men so dont try and be ignorant and use that to try and discriminate against trans people because u will lose

  • @Myworldgonewild I agree with everything that you said..

  • @Myworldgonewild - Have you ever been in a dressing room at Macy's? You'd have to tear open one of the door to do that. Yours is a nonsensical argument and the worst kind of fearmongering. It smacks of when white bigots refused to allow black people to use the same drinking fountains for fear they'd "catch" something.

Transgender people are just the newest N-----s on the block.

  • @Myworldgonewild Hey retard, theres a LOT more to being transgendered than just "throwing on a dress". Theres getting a letter from a therapist (3 months of therapy there) Theres also learning how to present oneself. I wont go into detail about HRT and beyond.

Also, its part of their job to protect their customers, ALL customers. If they see ANYONE pulling shenanigans in the dressing rooms, out you go.

Next thing you will say is about lesbians? (We like our women too) :p

  • I approve of this message!

  • Great vid! You are right, Karma will get you every time! btw, I would LOVE to come to your campus and speak about my adventures as a transsexual high school teacher!

  • @MsShaunaM if your in san antonio we would love to have you come and speak for this upcoming semester!

  • Rick Perry is doing wonderful things for the unemployment rate

    ; )

  • Agree with you. Wonderful.

  • @akrifasouth I would be glad Macy's fired a person for that even if i didn't know the person in question...but seeing as i do and she is a crazy person... it makes me happy. :)

  • @jessicalynnstrom Agree - this kind of horrible bigotry can no longer be tolerated in civilised society.
