  • Great video. As someone who grew up in Winnipeg and now lives in much warmer Southern Ontario i actually do miss Winnipeg winters often. Clean, crisp air and ice skating EVERYWHERE, It's dry and dependable. Here in Ontario its always cold, warm, cold, warm, slushy, dirty, sleety...not much fun for outdoors,

  • @CPAir747 Thanks! I know what you mean about the dry cold!! I've lived now for a winter and summer on the West Coast of British Columbia, and it's certainly a change.. the snow sports are mainly done with plenty of humidity. Though you can get some nice days too.

Winnipeg definitely has dependable winter weather, and for anyone into hockey, ice skating or cross country skiing, it's actually hard to beat how great it is!!

  • @CPAir747 In Montreal it´s the same...one day is cold, another one is warm, the snow melts, and snow again, not much fun either

  • hi, greething from german-Hamburg. i like your video from the forks!!! i like winni very much, and i would like to äähhmm do ice skating in the forks:) so have fun;)

  • @TheAmandaSt Hey there!! Greetings from Vancouver! Thanks for watching :)

  • Why would someone from a region with excellent weather ever consider moving THERE.

  • @nmbluegrass Winnipeg was a great place to live, even with the weather! Summer is pretty amazing, and winter offers some great ice skating, and cross country skiing (see my other video on YouTube )

  • Hi Lucasstarbuck, great video, it is interesting to hear a visitor’s perspective on the Winnipeg Forks. This video would be great for the Canada’s Got Treasures collection, which aims to feature Canadian videos of personal or cultural significance. Help celebrate Canadian diversity by joining our YouTube group (/group/TresorTreasure) and submitting your video. It would be made available on our channel and website.
