  • A main event in any arena !!!

  • A Pier 6 brawl LOL

  • at least the outlaw was smart enough to wear a mask

  • Comment removed

  • huge crowd!

  • Good ole squash

  • This shit's hilarious..

  • Boulder's finishing move was pretty damn gay.

  • this is funny, me and my Youngest brother always used to make fun of this match, the fac tthat the Outlaw looks like they just put some tights and a mask on a random fan from the audience and there he is the DANGEROUS OUTLAW!

  • The Outlaw is now retired for pro wrestling and is the mayor of Parts Unknown.

  • when he switched to polishing knobs (not Brian Knobbs), He just pissed everyone off cause he refused to take off that stupid mask. The wrestlers started calling him the masked vagina,it was horrible. The last time anyone has heard or seen him was when he was observed running out of the Nassau coliseum hysterical and only wearing panties and.......his mask.

  • there is nothing more sad than what happened to the man who many believe was the greatest star in the history of pro wrestling...the OUTLAW!! iN Ric Flairs book he mentions that it was the OUTLAW who was set 2 win the Title @MSG from the Iron Sheik, but the night before he sprained his finger giving Pat Patterson and Greg Valentine a double handjob at a Bobs big boy Restaurant.it ruined him he could never give a handjob the same again.

  • This was gulf coast wrestling which turned into southeastern. not memphis

  • this looks totally even !

  • this was a make or break match for the Outlaw

  • this is my grandfather

  • this is my grandfather

  • The Outlaw is built like Colin Delaney

  • Why oh why did I ever bet my life savings on the Outlaw??

  • the crowd really seemed pumped. i guess they didn't drink enough beer yet. selling out places in alabama aint easy.

  • Comment removed

  • I think The Outlaw is RIGHT, but this match actually took place in the 1950s-because "Hulk" Hogan is elderly now. But he broke ALL attendence records in Alabama!

  • Thunderlips!!

  • This was neither USWA nor CWA. This was Southeastern Championship Wrestling out of the Knoxville/Birmingham/Pensacola territory which the Welch/Fuller clan promoted. They were not connected with the Memphis promotion.

  • I am glad you all enjoy it it makes me fill real good to know I put a smile on your face and a laugh in your life . have a great day . Hey flipsiderunner your advertising is great I love it keep it up .

  • this arena looks like the impact zone

  • LOL!!! If you start watching it from from about 1:40 it looks like he's wrestling one of the crash test dummies. LOL!

  • I laughed hard when they showed who Hogan's opponent was.

  • Did Boulder ever wear a Bolder holder ?

  • Date of this match is May 26, 1979. NWA Southeastern Championship Wrestling in Dothan, AL. Terry had just wrestled Harley Race for the NWA World title a night or two before this, and appeared to have won it, only to see the decision get reversed for throwing Race over the top rope. This is why you hear Terry referred to as the "uncrowned NWA World Heavyweight Champion."

  • @WhoKilledDizzy There's another video of this match floating around with the date 1976 on it. I disputed that because Hogan never had his first wrestling match until 1977. I placed the date of this video somewhere between May and June of 1979 because he wrestled in May of 1979 for the championship they are talking about in the video. After seeing your precise date, I have to say that I was spot on. Thanks for the info.

  • Shit! Is that The Outlaw Ron Bass? he's lost ALOT of weight!! :)

  • Funniest "bearhug" ever.

  • This bear hug reminds me of when Chyna did that to Terri Runnels! LOL

  • more like 1981 memphis champ wrestling

  • the outlaw! lmao!

  • Thumb up if your money was on The Outlaw.

  • this mustve been hogan b4 the steroids

  • Being crowned the uncrowned heavyweight champion for about 37 seconds.

  • 1)Terry Boulder broke attendance records? Was there a school field trip that day?

2)After Terry got hit with a few shots it was like he said "Okay, that's enough. Let me show you how you hurt your opponent".

3)This is probably the biggest mismatch I've ever seen in the ring. I think Boulder's 2nd elbow broke the Outlaw in half and then killed him with that bear hug. That was a total ragdoll..lol

  • Terry "The Hulk" Boulder, using wrestling's gayest finisher nearly 20 years before the Giant and the YETAY dried to DP him! The Iron Sheik was right about Hulk, HE A NO-GOOD FAG!

  • The Outlaw almost had him beat. Outlaw is a beast in his own right! What high school chess team did they find him at? I heard the outlaw is a repeated offender convicted of J-walking and littering. Not a guy you want to mess with. Lucky win by Boulder, but I don't think he would ever make it big in this business, brother! lol

  • After taking a moment to look it up, it appears as though this was from 1979.

  • lol " i believe the outlaw is "out" haha

  • God Damn!Hogan is a fucking monster!

  • @RMilvae

he sure took his vitamins (roids) back then..

  • When he applies the bear hug, I think of the YET-TAY!!!!!!

  • There's the bearhug! Bah God he's broken in half!

  • It's not from 1976 (Hogan didn't start wrestling until '77) and it's not Memphis either.

  • that bearhug looks so friggin funny! Its like he rapes this guy in public

  • God, I could watch the outlaw all day long. When is HIS dvd ever coming out? Thanks for nothing, Vince!

  • @flipsiderunner" The Outlaw's Greatest Hits!

See him take bodyslams, suplexes, back breakers and piledrivers in over 3hours worth of footage!

but wait theres more, order now and you'll recieve an Outlaw baseball jacket, mug, keyring, cheese grater and The Best of Collar and Elbow tie-up's 1988 - Call now!!!

  • @flipsiderunner LOL! I think they're still trying to accumulate all the footage and interview the hundreds of people it would take to give a thorough treatment to his tremendous career. It should be a nine disc set...minimum.

  • The Outlaw Should have turn this into a Shoot and changed Wrestling history What a lost Op :

  • Yeah, Hogan should have done the right thing a jobbed to this guy.

  • @GETole fuck u man i am tired of you and all other hogan haters putting down hogan and saying that hogan should job to everyone. i am tired of this shit.

  • @domamania Dude, that was sarcasm; I don't really think Hogan should have jobbed to that guy. Only a moron would really think that. That said, since you are a troglodyte and don't recognize sarcasm, you can go fuck yourself, too. BTW: I think Walmart sells clues at a discount--why don't you go buy one? Have a nice day.

  • Comment removed

  • @domamania At least go to Walmart and get a spelling book. The post you removed was chalk full of misspellings.

  • @GETole atleast you could understand what i wrote. and two its pretty easy to make mistakes when you pulling 12 internet conversations at one time. and three i never go shopping i allways send some one to do my shopping for me. thats because i can afford to pay a person to do my shopping for me. then i give that person 400 dollars a week for the services.. thank you. ciao.

  • @domamania Yeah, sure. Someone that can't type, spell properly, or write coherently has someone shop for them. Sure. We all believe that. You might be a fat ass that receives a taxpayer funded subsidy, but that's about it.

  • @GETole sure that has net value of 1.4 million dollars also a person thats 5 foot 10 that weighs 200 pounds of all muscle is not a fatass at all.

  • @domamania Uh, huh, sure. And who's so insecure that he has to say so here.

  • @GETole say so here? trust me i am secure of my self. and by the way what you said goes completly of subject.

  • @domamania So your net value comment was "on subject"? Ha! Not unless you got $1.4M for blowing Hogan.

  • @GETole yes i am worth1.4 million dollars. and NO i NEVER blew Hogan and i DONT go that way.

  • WTF Hogan should job to The Outlaw clean!!!!!!

  • Continental Territory? Never heard it called that. CWA was Championship Wrestling Association. It later became USWA.

  • @Insanitymatrix Before it was the Championship Wrestling Association it was known as the Continental Wrestling Association. If you type CWA Wrestling into Google, you'll get a Wikepedia link that explains it all.

    Cheers.

  • @GETole I don't believe Wikipedia is correct. It states that the name was changed in 1987. I have tapes from early 1985. Then announcer Lance Russell would always say welcome to Championship Wrestling. That page was modified on March 4, 2010.

  • This is actually what would become the Continental Territory throughout Alabama, eastern Mississippi, and northern Florida.

  • Wow, I remember this. My dad 'rassled the Outlaw once but he voided his bowels during the match and got thrown out of the arena. After that he was forever known as "The Masked Soiler".

  • @bigpoopie69 Who is your dad? I have never soiled any thing that ihad on , not even when I wrestled a 600 lb. black bear 3 times .

  • I thought the Outlaw had that one! By the way, where is "parts unknown". lol

  • @transammike I believe Parts Unknown is west of Destination Anywhere

  • Sorry for you. I would have been embarrassed to be in public looking like that.

  • At least I had the ability and the inTESTICAL fortitude to do it . I also made a lot of friends in that buisness GABRONIE.

  • So you're saying the match took place in 1967, which means Hogan would have been 14 years old............yeah......

  • I am sorry .I was alittle upset I ment 1976 . Terry is 6 years younger than me . He is now 53 . my apologies once again .

  • Excuse me he is 56 he is 3 years younger than me , but I can tell you this his forearms felt like being hit in the back with a conncrete block .

  • @MrOutlaw257 Honestly are people really believing your "The outlaw" If you are, Why are you arguing and trying to defend your self on the interenet? That is pathetic.

  • @joetodaro LOL

  • @joetodaro Yes, and he jobbed to a 14 year old...Classy!

  • @joetodaro

theres always one idiot in here .. he looks like a OLD 14 yr old huh joetodaro lol . mr outlaw needs to get a life....or a wife haha

  • @joetodaro :-D why not ? :-D

  • @joetodaro

Well Hogan wrestled with a mask, so you dont know for sure.

  • @joetodaro he might have just confused the order of the 7 and 6. Match was in 1976.

  • @joetodaro

I'm guessing he meant 1976. Or he's inbred

  • @MrOutlaw257 No way! THEEE Outlaw, I'm a huge fan of yours, you almost had that one in the bag! lol

  • @MrOutlaw257 if thats you some situps would have been in order

  • @MrOutlaw257 you failed ^^

  • @MrOutlaw257 Why did you agreed to be the jobber to a man at one time half your size?

  • @MrOutlaw257 Idiot. This match took place in the WMC TV studios in Memphis, TN. The studio is still there. I've been inside the building many times.

  • @MrOutlaw257 i was real close too im hulk hogan. nice to see you sgain how about one more match. HH,

  • This is Gulf Coast Wrestling. Not Memphis.

  • Damn I thought the Outlaw had this one! Outlaw sure had the looks, charisma & pythons to win this!

  • hogans bearhug = a standing fuck.

  • lol

  • dude lol you are so right

  • @drewey07: LOL, that's freaking disgusting!!!

  • If only people would listen, there would be no more fighting about where this was filmed. Anyone who personally knows the outlaw, knows beccababy IS his grandchild. She should know where it was filmed, as most of his wrestling was done in Pensacola, FL, even I could have told you that chances were it was filmed there. HE ROCKS!!!

  • This was actually filmed in Dothan, Alabama at the TV studios. True, there was wrestling in Pensacola, but the TV matches took place in Dothan. Also, this was way after Gulf Coast, as it was being billed as Southeastern Championship Wrestling. Somebody should put out a DVD collection on that area as a number of future stars came out of SCW.

  • MEMPHIS HOME

  • The Outlaw reminds me of El Generico for some reason.

  • Was this Hogan's 1st match ever?

  • no, his first match was in florida

  • Terry "The Boulder"

  • Wow...this is great footage. Thanks for posting it.

  • Oh and to save you all the trouble, this video was made in Pensacola Florida. Not far from Dothan.

  • actually its from WTVY in Dothan, thats Charlie Platt annoucing.

  • yeah he told me that a couple of weeks ago when i showed him this video. lol.

  • The outlaw is my grand dad. him and terry are really good friends. These matches are set up. He really could wrestle he trained booker t (the king),

  • the outlaw should have called on the Warrior Nation for help.

    Remember kids, queering doesn't work.

  • The Outlaw sucks!

  • Obviously the outlaw didnt take his vitamins and say his prayers :)

  • Obviously he was not on steroids like all the rest of them!

  • The Outlaw's a bad motherfucker.

  • you can just look at the Outlaw and tell he's a terrible outlaw!!

  • The Outlaw was a bad dude before the meth.

  • he didn't do meth smart one. He had 5 Kids. I'm his grand daughter!

  • WTF! 1:44 to 1:48 doesn't look like he's bear hugging.

  • !!!BROTHER!!!

  • the prayers the vitamins the training=steroids

  • HAHA HA!

  • not 1976. No earlier than 1978.

  • tow74 is correct. Hogan didn't even start wrestling until late 1977. He was Sterling Golden in the NWA and Terry "The Hulk" Boulder in Memphis.

  • southernpurewrestling . com has launched, BROTHER

  • You are on youtube. Search for his work in 1983 against Inoki. Ignorance is bliss.

  • What an old match, Hulk Hogan before he was Hulk Hogan. He was called Terry "The Hulk" Boulder in USWA and CWA.

  • The set too pretty to be Dothan. Not Memphis because Charlie Platt is on the mic, so I say Knoxville, which at the time, was also Southeastern Championship Wrestling

  • I'm not sure what town, but it's definitely Southeastern. Knoxville is likely.

  • My guess would be Knoxville or Birmingham, but one of the announcers was Continental's Charlie Platt.

  • Pensacola, FL

  • Seriously, you have gold right here with this video! What a gem! Hulk Hogan before he even became Hulk Hogan, what a rarity!

  • its not that rare...this vhs was being sold at pick N' saves throughout the 90's

  • The Outlaw almost turned things around but I guess he ran out of gas. 9 out of 10 other matches, the Outlaw kicks Hogans' ass!

  • You are a loser ! The HULK is all that and a bag of chips. LOSER!

  • agreed either late 1978 or early 1979.

  • This is Southeast Championship Wrestling, possibly from Dothan or Montgomery, AL or Pensacola, FL. Later on it became Continental Championship Wrestling then the Continental Wrestling Federation.

  • Without a doubt this is from Alabama.

  • This isn't Memphis - it's from Dothan, AL.

  • wow this clip is going back. this is awesome thanks for showing this clip. where did u get this clip from this is a rarity for sure. thanks

  • not rare at all...its off a vhs got tag team tidle wave...sold at kmarts and pick n' saves in the 90's
