wtf dude do you actually know anything about guitar? the only reason a guitarist tunes a certain way is to fit the lead singers vocal range and this song can be played in any of those mentioned tunings because the open chord on the low strings are rarely used but they play in standard not half step and how can a tuning be beautiful theres no elitism in guitar tunings

theres always an exception the rule but coheed and cambria must compensate for this by using vocal lines that are based around the tunings they use and the intervals that match it its only really singers with low voices that need down tuned guitar because that range isnt on a standard were as all the high notes are
