Ray is damn good. I doubt KoRn could have found anyone anyone better to fill David's shoes drumming wise. I like how he typically stays true to the original drum tracks. David definitely gave off more of the rockstar vibe that I think Ray lacks but since Ray joined I'd actually go see KoRn play. The other replacements were weak.

Someone has a serious boner for David Silveria. You think Luzier is a "poser" compared to Silveria? That's hilarious... To 99% of people who are into *real* metal and hard rock, KORN themselves are complete posers. Luzier gets a free pass because he's just a hired hand who can play in any type of situation. If you think Silveria is better than this guy, you're either not a drummer (and therefore can't really judge) or you're letting your man-lust get in the way of rational thinking.

@beepers  a lot of drummers have a snare or two at their lefts hands, or a snare and a floor tom at their left hand. i know a few drummers that do this so they can accentuate certain parts of songs without twisting all the way to the right to hit 2 floor toms. i believe josh freese has a similar set-up for some of his drumming... i know he has something like 2 snares or a snare and floor tom to his left for APC

@BruthaSilkySlim Hell I started off using pots, pans, buckets, and whatever I could get my hands on to use for percussion. lol I assure you though that I am way past that stage. But I do agree with you. A drummer can learn and take notes from another drummer by watching them or even listening to them. Also I think that there is no dominant drummer. Every drummer has their own technique and style.

hey man the band is called army of anyone and it was a super group that ray was in back in the mid 2000's.

first song is "father figure" and the other song is "goodbye"

the band consisted of Patrick the singer from Filter, Ray Luzier and the two brothers from Stone temple pilots on bass and guitar.

look up army of anyone, they were pretty bad ass!

Ray's style of drumming is perfect for Korn but some people say he's not that technical and I disagree and I think he's very creative behind his drumkit, but with Korn's grooves he's very limited people should check out some of his pre-Korn sessions they will blow u away.
