He blows up the building the 1st time as to get people's attention so they can take vid/pic (with the smoke/fire hiding enough details to keep his identity hidden) with the 2nd blast keeping cops from trying to follow him through the inferno. The naked thing too is kinda logical. Metaphorically, him being naked shows him not having anything to hide from God, also keeping himself vulnerable to a death he wants the almighty's destiny for him to enact.

I think Dolph did a terrific job of portraying the role of the Punisher. The action in the movie was great and story was also good. ( Who in his right mind decided that Thomas Jane could be a better Punisher than Dolph Lundgren).

It is obvious why the new Punisher movie bombed badly at the box office.The major difference is that of Thomas Jane and Dolph. I think they should have repeated Dolph Lundgren.

I use to love this movie as a kid. But now as I watch it, it's full of very late '80's cheesy crime movie cliches. It means well for it's time.

In all, Dolph makes this movie worth watching again. He's badass; "come on, God, answer, for years I've asked, why are the innocent dead and guilty free....where is justice, where is punishment?"

I don't care what anyone says, that's some balls of steel acting delivery at it's best
