The ads at the bottom of the screen give money to WFP. Each 1,000 ads add up to $6. You have donated $6,000 to the needy. People in those countries are living off of less than $2 a day. If we say that one more dollar will be enough to adequately feed them (just an estimate), you've fed a family of four for more than four years. But it's likely they will use the money for something more sustaining and you've had an even more lasting effect. May you have a lifetime of happiness.
@TheBestMacTutorials Well, ads on a webpage always give the site money. That's how many sites make their income. So for each ad, the sponsor pays Free Rice 0.6 cent. A million is $6,000.
@Thantophobia1 You made errors. Do consider that you get 10 "grains" for each correct answer. 1,000 "grains" is only 100 ads. 1,000,000 "grains" is 100,000 ads. So if each 1,000 ads really adds up to $6, that would make 1,000,000 "grains" a $600 donation, not $6,000. Which would make the cents-per-correct-answer .006, not .6. And if it were .6, going by what you said, 1,000,000 "grains" would be a $60,000 donation.
Damn, I wish they would just disclose how much money we generate, not "grains".
@rocket83cs Yeah, you're right, that was a stupid mistake, but I actually think that it's .3 cents, due to the recession. That's why they switched it from 20 grains to 10 grains. So a million grains would be $30,000, which is actually a lot better.
Quite a while, I try to do 5,000 grains a day, so that might have taken about 200 give or take a few days....? Does that sound right? I think then I was diong 5,000 a day, which 5,000 multiplied by 200 = 1,000,000 so ya I guess that long, and each day it took me about 20-40 minutes I would say 200 multiplied by 30 ot thirty is aobut 6,000 minutes or about One hundred hours which is a lot, but spread out over more than half of a year that is not so much, I spend far more time on the cpu than this
@WithASideOfFries Oh, never mind, It's been a while since I've had to go to the options page. Now I think just making an account will save your grains :)
Dang somebody has some time on there hands lol thumbs up if you agree

@Thantophobia1 Thank you! By the way, may I ask where you got the information about the advertisement earnings? I never expected that much :)
