  • I'd just like to say 2 things. 1. the basilisk has a minimum range but instead off guessing range you can fire directly at a target (even at targets within its minimum range) and 2. the Leman Russ battle cannon is ordnance str 8 so when you fire it at another vehicle you get strength 8 +2d6 for armour penetration so that lascannon on the front is just empty points.

  • wats ur two main clours? the brown and light cream sand colour?

  • @Scremojunkie38 Scorched Brown and Khaiki Yellow (the sand color) :)

  • @AdeptestWarhamerist when you say khaiki yellow, do u mean kammondo khaiki? dont no a lot about the paints xD

  • @Scremojunkie38 disregard the earlier reply, you are correct.

  • cool another tactica video from someone who is clueless

  • @ninjacouncilguild Sorry, it was a while ago, things have changed, but it is still useful

  • @AdeptestWarhamerist Not really I suggest you make your way over to the dakkadakka forums there is alot of good advice from top level tournament players. Also sponsons on LRBTs is really not a good idea add in the fact you recommend people mix the in heavy bolter sponsons with lascannons and your giving advice that might make folk model there tanks in the wrong setup.

  • most battlefields are 4x4 so u have about 2 turns to take out a squad or two maybe one for a tank if u get lucky shots bc of the 12"they can move

  • @hazedude1233

Who says that most battlefields are 4x4?? Are you playing like 1000 point games all the time or something?

  • @grooshmonkey I said most i wasnt saying all I know some people can't play that size and i know some people play way bigger battles that is why i said MOST BATTLEFIELDS ARE 4x4

  • a basilisk can shoot within these 36"aslong as it is direct fire(please read this in the vehicle section of the main rules stop overlooking it all the damn time ppl!)

  • @alexiusangelfire hes right. Basilisks are made to be able to level there cannons unlike most artillery, so they can be used in closer ranges as a last resort.

  • hey. im starting IG and would love to have advice on starting the army. i feel tht i kinda want a veteran heavy army. if you can help please post your comments on my channel. ill be making vids soon! thnks

  • @ruckus10000 MELTA VETS IN A CHIMERA WITH A DEMO PACK!

  • can anone help me get a good army for guard. im starting IG and i kida want a veteran heavy force. if you can hlp please post comments on my channel. ill be making vids soon! thnks

  • im starting a guard army an will be uploading vids soon. i kinda want a veteran force. if you have any ideas, you can postthem on my channel. thnks

  • i've discovered leman russes are more effective without sponsons and don't use a laz up front one shot bs 3...na heavy bolter at least you get anti infantry and use vets for anti tanks

  • and Basalisk can be and should be used almost every game for the point cost and power.

  • to add to the super heavy baneblade being used in a normal game i believe its up to the players but by the rules no you cant. and still a chaos player couldn't match the points we were going to play so i let him use a super heavy. Every turn it was on the table it couldn't shoot or move and it lost at least one structure point. by turn three it was gone and it killed about two out of 150 guardmens that i was using. that game was a wipe out.

  • Dont use it if you have a small battlefield? WTF? it can fire directly u know?

it basicly has no minimum range.

u can fire it directly but u have to have line of sight

  • Ya I was going to point that out too.

Basically you can fire it as a barrage but you have that minimum range of 36" inches. OR you can fire directly and have no minimum range but have to have a line of sight.

  • the rat like things are scarabs but you whould need tons of them plus disruption fields to do any damage

  • can the baneblade be used in a normal 40k game ? (not apocalypse)

  • nope it can only be used in apocalypse. if it were to be used in a regular game it would just own everything

  • if it fits within the point limit. i woudlnt recommend it though even though its a really great unit, it can be destroyed easily if ambushed and costs like 500 points of your army, a big plus to your enemy if its destroyed and your playing points

  • no. in one word

  • its funny, a lot of people will be using tanks tanks tanks, but i like to play my games not sooooo cheese. For instance, i have two land raiders for my Black templars, but have NEVER once used them in a game. For my IG i plan to use sentinels and heavy weapon teams. Maybe a few hellhounds, maybe ONE tank once in a while, but non of this 3 Russ crap. And even then maybe once every 6 games or so

  • I hope guard players don't start recieving the same "noob" sentiment as space marine players often do. People will become very tank-happy, and will then realize (in the face of recurring assaults in non-linear 40k) that the game is in fact just as hard. Simply more new toys to be creative with.

  • new codex made them alot more expensive. Lascannon on Leman Russes are now pointless as you will find out there are different Leman Russ Variants that will better use the hull mounted Lascannon. Normal Leman Russes are meant for Infantry Killing Machines, cause your wasting too much Heavy Bolter Shots on a wasteful target such as a armor 14 tank. Best build for normal Leman Russ for the new codex which can benefit the new Lumbering Behemoth Rule is Heavy Bolters all around and BattleCannon

  • yeah that new codex is going to make everyone want to play guard

  • Haha lama pillow. We have two lamas
