I have to be honest beautiful song/lyrics but her voice dossent do anything for me and I really love opera!! I would love to see Ramin Karimloo and Emmy Rossum Sing together to me they are the best Christine and Phantom...
i really adore her... SIERRA + BOGGESS = GODDESS... she has everything, she's rich, famous, a good dancer (remember in the phantom of the opera before her part christine became a famous opera singer she was a ballet dancer) and a voice out of this world like an angel... if i were a boy i'd fly to u.k. and marry her.!
i hear that they are finally going to make a movie for this sequel. i hope they go with hugh jackman, their first choice for the first poto movie (but he declined due to the filming of van helsing). gerard is good, but i really want to see hugh.
When she dies, and he says he's always loved her... um, it kinda goes with love never dies. He loved her so much, he didn't care what he went through, he has a son now and he can raise his new Christine, Gustave.
I can't help myself crying when I listen this: "...and drives you to despair and forces you to feel more joy than you can bear. Love gives you pleasure and love brings you pain and yet when both are gone love will still remain"
Every time I think of the Phantom I almost start crying. He suffered so much loss and so much heartache. This is such a perfect song for him to have written for her. Beautiful.

@Daizzey80 I think it was a response to the outrage of all the people who thought she should have ended up with the Phantom. Either way, the man cannot get the girl at the end. At least she admitted she actually loved him this time. XD
i like to imagine the sequel didn't happen and that christine died the way she did in the movie. Then again I always liked her relationship with Raoul (her relationship with Erik had a lot more sexual tension but to me it seemed to be more obsessive then loving - not that you have to agree it's just my opinion)
@Daizzey80 I know! Hasn't Erik suffered enough in PotO? The only comfort he still has after Christine left with Raoul, is that she's happy and living a life that she wants. Why does ALW has to torture poor Erik further, by having Christine choose him and die in his arms? Plus, *SPOILER WARNING* why does Meg turn evil/crazy and try to kill Gustave? It's so out of character!
@MrToadRocks I think that by the year of her death in the movie, its implied that she died from the Spanish flu epidemic. However I'm not completely sure about the year, so correct me if I am wrong :]
@Elizabeth111Music I just saw when it briefly flickered across the screen that the gap between her birth and death was quite large, but she may have died from the epidemic. Either way, Andrew Loyd Webber was involved in both the production and the movie so it's idiotic to have one Christine die of the flu, and the other from a bullet.
@Elizabeth111Music the spanish flu epidemic was in 1918 just after the war ended. the soldiers brought it back when they came home. christine, according to the movie, died in 1917, the year before, so it is unlikely that she died of spanish flu. i think that she died of old age since, in the film, her birth year was 1854. this makes her 16 when the movie takes place, and makes her 63 in the year of death. basically, the film and the sequel don't match up.
@deedeelizard your point being? historical facts should still be kept accurate. little kids might pick up on that and be misinformed. considering what i'm working towards careerwise, this is important to me, so dont give me that line.
@LightningStrikes56 May I point out that the film version is not the same as the stage musical. 'The Phantom of the Opera' stage version does match up with 'Love Never Dies' and 'LND' was created as a sequel to the stage version and not the most recent film. There are lots of already existing films based on the original 'Phantom' book and I doubt any of the others match with 'Love Never Dies' either.
@Elwingda I said the film and the sequel don't match up. I never said anything about the stage performance, which I've also seen. And I know the films are based on the original book, I do my research, thank you very much. Why does everyone treat me like a five year old every time I say something? I'm not an idiot.
@LightningStrikes56 I am very sorry if I offended you. That was certainly not my intention. I much respect the fact that you have thought of it so carefully. I simply wished to express my confusion over why we are even attempting to piece together 'PotO' the film and 'Love Never Dies' as if the latter was a sequel to the first as they are certainly not compatible with each other and, if I may say, I don't think each is any worse for that :) My sincere apologies.
@Elwingda I should have know you did not mean offence. My mind has just been stuck in my little story world since August, for which I have to apologise. I'm sorry if I confused you, I can't even remember I had commented on this video until now. Two weeks feel like an eternity away to me these days. And I have no idea what I'm trying to say ;)
This song is superb!! !I think that the person was really inspired or in love when he wrote this lyric. It took me a while to get used to the whole soundtrack but now Im loving it! I cant stop listening!
As much as I love the soundtrack, this song is better on stage. Not as breathy.. that being said, I've lost count of how many times I've listened to this and all the other songs on the CDs :)
absolutely beautiful! I don't really care all that much for all of the music, but this is absolutely wonderful. It captures the magic of Phantom of the Opera and adds a twist that is very relevant. :)

I think the reason you cant understand what she is saying becuz when people sing really high notes, they just sing the vowel of the word
