The sound of the door being opened was kinda hollow... but thankfully the slam shut was solid...

Anyone out there, whats the actual feel of the door opening? Solid? plastic? flimsy, like the handle is gonna drop off? Need your feedback cos here in my country, we dont have the car, but i'll be heading over to USA soon and thinking of getting one.

@mtbrogue88 It's pretty solid if you ask me. I was in my uncles basically the whole summer, its a nice car. Although i recommend the 2011 edge, the lines are a lot sleeker and it has a more modern feel to the inside of the car.

I have one of these babies in ingot silver. Mine has the vista roof and interior lighting package so I can change the color whenever I want (I think it's more of a chick thing, lol). I love this car. It rides smooth and quiet. :)

The interior looks cheap. But then again, for 28K euros, you can barely get a decent Golf over here. Btw, those brakes look ridiculously small behind those butt-ugly chrome wheels. They're about the size of the rear brakes on my passat

That's because in US VW sells crappy cars built in Mexico, not the real deal. BTW, most Volkswagens are manual where I come from. And the auto transmissions are usually ZF or Jatco, VW does not produce auto trannny's. Even the DSG (wich in terms of transmissiosn is waaaay above everythig else) is made by a third party. And yes, those rims are fugly and oversized, considering the brakes are made for the standard 16 inch wheels, so they are probably 14 inch diameter.
