  • this shit is bad for you, it is like drugs

  • @MrDarragh123456789 explain,,,

  • glutamine doesnt even work its proven.

  • @3dkiller On the contrary, it does work and its proven:

  • @ProfessionalWhey ergogenics. org/glutamine4 .html Glutamine does not work, tons of studies.

  • @3dkiller Sorry your post does not make sense fully....but i get that your opinion is glutamine does not work

  • @3dkiller this shit is bad for you, it is basically like drugs!!!!!!

  • @3dkiller glutamin does work IF injected

  • @3dkiller Glutamine is the most prominent of the amino acids found in proteins. It decreases muscle breakdown while sleeping. That's all I know from the top of my head.

  • @3dkiller its actually not muscle growth, its recovery and too prevent muscle breakdown from cardiac activities.

  • thank you. i have just had surgery recently of course my gut area is suffering from all the jabs & medication i took causing bloating. Pls how much glutamine is it safe for me to take? thank you

  • @Ahbelina Start with 5g - 4 times daily and see how you go - then you could increase it but listen to your body carefully as to how you feel.

  • @ProfessionalWhey thank you for your comment. I amnot sure how much 5g is exactly but i am taking 1 teaspoon 3xtimes a day. This is the third day already & i am feeling so much better already. the type i am taking is not Micro i bought it from the health shop Is the Micro type more absorbable? Also please maybe you can direct me with a product to target body fat in general but mainly around belly. thank you

  • @Ahbelina As the micro version is smaller in size it will be better absorbed. In terms of fat loss we recommend L-Carnitine L-Tartrate and Organic Extra Virgin Coconout Oil.

  • @ProfessionalWhey Thank you so much for this valuable info. will send feed backs later.

  • GLUT is good to supplement

  • fking thanks for all that information :p

  • Glutamine is a joke. Dont waste your money. Its already in your protein drink. If you want cheap glutamine buy cottage cheese.

  • Its only a joke when if you don't take enough!

Hence why Charles Poliquin and other professional coaches use higher dosages.

  • How much would you say to take per day? If you get enough protein, say 1 gram per pound of bodyweight most say that is sufficient. The recommend does is 2-15grams per day. I can get that in 3 protein drinks per day. Glutamine only works if you have a severe deficiency. I know you are trying to sell a product and your protein is good enough.

  • If you do your homework you will see that 15g is a very conservative dose which equates to conservative gains.

  • i started using less just because of cost but unlike the bottle says i typically took it before the work out, five grams as well, and five grams after. generally i do the two hours later 5 grams it says on the bottle. 15 grams is a 5 more than the container recommends but everything i have heard says take it beforehand.

it does keep soreness down and help with protein synthesis, it keeps catabolism from setting in making your workout very productive. i didnt know it helped with food intake tho

  • the truth is, you cant draw the line, alot of nutrition based around body building is totaly theorised...people tend to tell others what they have heard...not alot of it is of experience.

  • I agree per 100grams whey contains 15 g glutamine

  • @ryno99 I'm not too sure if it's a joke because I would be so sore after working out hard and then when I took this stuff my soreness was completeley gone which is unheard of to me. It would usually take a day maybe even two to recover.

  • I know this is a late reply, but I have found the same thing when using glutamine as well. I actually add it to a powder branched chain amino acid ( orange flavor ) and an whey isolate ( vanilla ) and get one heck of a great tasting orange cream sickle taste with 2% milk. My recovery times are great and I am 38 years of age, so typically the older you get the slower the recovery. But I am having great gains in muscle and keeping it with those 3 that I mentioned, and using nothing else. Peace.

  • @ryno99 How do you know it's already in my protein drink? My protein shake has nothing but protein, I don't use a shitty commercial brand with a shit protein % with other useless shit mixed in. My protein is a 90%, highest out there.

  • @ryno99 Most cheaper Wheys have BCAA's...not glutamine.

It is good to supplement glutamine..

For all you people with phobias about supps...if youre so scared of it...seal some in a sandwich bag and send it to a lab for tests...it wont cost too much, and youll know whats all in it...guaranted.

  • @ryno99 I have a good quality whey protein and as I had no glutamine info on the label I phoned up the manufacturer to ask how much Glutamine was in the product. It was not as much as everyone keeps saying. You need about 10g a day of Glutamine and this is why most people have to buy it separately. I'd like to know how much glutamine is in other people's whey protein.

  • I would'nt go as far as saying its the best, but its great if you are leaning up and are reducing your intake of nutrients and calories.

  • soo do you think l-glutamin is the best for a good muscle defination ???

  • Thanks for sharing. I want to improve my muscle recovery time

  • Thanks for the vid...very helpful
