Weightlifting became a joke when they retired the real world records and then people started setting 'world records' by lifting at least 5 kilos LESS than the old records while weighing 3 or 4 kilos MORE than the holders of the previous world records.

The 80's was the steroid era of weightlifting, even in the late 80's when they revised the drug testing protocol they were still doing urine tests as opposed to blood tests which allows lifters to pass drug tests while on steroids! Blood Testing has been part of olympic weightlifting since 92' in Barcelona whereas Tanranenko Vandarian and Zllatev heavily used steroids Dimas and Reza at the very least could not use roids to the same extent if they could even get away with their use period.
@IoannisKontosIII so do lifters like Marcin Dolega? Juicing it? Clean and jerking 500lbs at 220lbs body weight? There are guys out there that are on alot of juice and they cant even deadlift 500lbs lol
