Now, I always thought this was due to germ-phobia, but this video shows that any snot-nosed kid off the street can just pick up a controller and try games. Not sure how their "dollars and cents" work over there. If one yen is like a penny, then there isn't that much of a difference. However, by what I've seen in some of Luke's videos, I don't think this is the case. I'm guessing 1 yen is their "dollar" I remember the guitar was about 126000 yen and he said it was around 1300 or 1500 bucks. If this is the case, then the dollar is worth much more than the Yen, which is what I think is actually true. I'm not entirely sure though.
