@Dar1066 Probably because most of the Ruby developers use Linux, so Windows support doesn't get very much attention... I use linux, so it doesn't really bother me unless I want to add windows support for something...
An interesting sidenote: The people at Microsoft are working on a version of ruby written in .NET called IronRuby, so maybe one day IronRuby will make most of our Windows troubles go away.
@manwithcode Not sure why my comments were removed, but anyways, I've found out that for some reason Microsoft aren't going to proceed with the IronRuby version, thats a pity I think, but again it may well be a good reason for us Windows People to try Linux now?
@Dar1066 It is a shame they're not going forward with IronRuby, I thought it was pretty cool! It's not like it's all bad on Windows, MRI still works (and I think JRuby does too), but I think it's much nicer on Linux
