Trust the Earth Band to make this far different from the studio version! The studio version had different keyboard parts, a different vocalist to Chris Thompson and a female vocal refrain...

First time I heard this song was just before my car broke down on a road in Iowa with a storm approaching(no aliens were involved). Some songs really bring back memories. I'd like to find a full version.

Not this live version, to my knowledge. If you want a studio version, you want the album Chance, which is a pretty good one. Also has For You and Lies (through the 80s) on it.
Sounds like this was supposed to lead into the latter.
