I have a tip for your gameplay.

-If you see a tiny L shape of like gems,it can often be matched. You'll know when you see it.

-In the earlier levels, if a bomb appears, ignore it if you're about to level. Bombs aren't really a threat up to level 5, if you get a decent multiplier. But always watch the countdown!

OK the game looks cool but if you're telling me that mine appears in all the game modes and if you don't time it right it's game over than I don't have no business with that game. I mean come on it's like playing tetris and you are really good but suddenly appears a block that puts you in a platforming section like Super Mario and if you don't do that well it's game over. That's a game breaker for me.

Don't worry. This game doesn't always try to put you in a bad situation. If you're worried about the mines, they only appear in the Classic and Blitz modes. In the Zen mode they never appear, in fact the Zen mode is endless and it's made specifically to "relax you" since there is no way to lose in that mode and you can freely make any kind of moves in there. About the Challenge mode, it's just about solving puzzles, so one only loses there if one gives up.

Wow! I'm really glad you made a review for this PC game! If it isn't because of my brother's Palm, I would have never known the Bejeweled games... and just last week I started playing on my PC the three Bejeweled titles. They're really great and awesome puzzle games! But, when I played Bejeweled Twist, it became my favorite one! It really is a great title, simple, but full of challenge, content, strategy, and especially FUN!

Bejeweled is one of the best game series ever made!

Mine can, not as well as my desktop but for a thousand dollar laptop, I'm impressed. Albeit, when I put my desktop together it was around $750 with a much better graphics card (Nvidia 280GT). The laptop with intergrated 9600M graphics runs just as well if not better than the 8800. Anyway, the point is...cost is going down for decent "gaming" laptops so I would expect quite a few to be suitable. Btw, I play Crysis at medium-high settings on the laptop.

Most newer ones are AMD Quad/Core2 duo or better. I'd go for at least 2.5 Ghz CPU but more if you can afford it. Definitely lots of ram (at least 4 gigs) And Minimum 512 ram for the graphics. On a laptop it may share the system memory so the more the better. The one I currently have has a 9600M GT intergrated graphics. It runs everything that's out at the moment. May not run all in highest quality but it runs. From $1,000-$1,500. More for a "real" gaming laptop (IE Alienware)

I can't think of many companies offhand that have texture artists as good as Valve.

Yea, Im a diehard windows gamer, and understand shooters are WAY better on PC, but as ashamed as I am of it, I HATE the Half-Life games (exept Deathmatch and Lost Coast)

As much as you hate it Unknown, Half-Life and it's series has had more of an impact on First Person gaming on the PC more then any Call of Duty, Doom, Duke Nukem, or many other first person shooters.

Perhaps it had more of an impact on you personally but it is hardly the milestone in FPS. I'm guessing you are too young to have actually been able to appreciate playing Doom, Duke Nukem 3D or Quake for the first time without having more modern (Ten years or less) games to compare them to. Those games are what paved the way for games like HL, Halo, COD...etc. Doom was great in 1993 but I can tell you first hand, Duke3D was mind blowing at the time.

I personally hate the new games that come out, they take alot of power to run, and cost alot.

I did not get into videogames early enough to be there for the launch of the classics, but I have played and own, Doom 1/2+Master levels, Duke Nukem 3D, Every single quake including mission packs. Iove all of them, but in the new era of gaming, HL series have paved miles of road for other games. Classic era is where the other games shine and I love them for that.
