Sierra is officially 'closed' as a company now- it's finally been bought by one of the BIG names, and 'closed up' and mothballed. So no new Larry games anymore. The only remaining remnants of Sierra still around are in things like Sam and Max which I saw something of lately- that came from Dynamix technically, but still connected to Sierra.

It's no coincidence that they have SUCKED without his input/creativity.

Hey, maybe you can be part of out game designing team if you want. We're calling it sierra Fanbase, and me and my friend are currently making a Larry game using Flash, and we do need some funny and artistic and somewhat talented people. Please PM me if your interested. We're tryingo tbring back the good old 2D adventure game Al produced and we're getting a bit of his involvement too, we can get more but he says he's retired now he can't be much help...

what kind of help do you need?, if you setup a site you may find that you can get help with scripting and graphics management etc. from the modding community to create your game...there are other groups working on recreations of older games such as deusex / halflife / and even some of the 2d games.

Whoa no, we're not that famous. Just 2 dudes trying to bring back the good old games, when I mean a crew, more people to join who are pretty much good at something (ideas, story writer, animator, scriptor)
