@mark57153 not a world great? but matt le tissier is? george best was a world great know all over the world for his football i dont think no over player could dribble the ball past players in a crowded box then slot it in the net like best could! people dont think as best as a world class player because of things like he never had the chance to play in a world cup etc 178 goals in 466 apperances at united and he wasnt a forward he was a winger! not to forget he retired early due to being a drunk

If you could make a statement about Best, yet say that Rooney being paid 250000k a week is a joke then you're really living in the past mate. What does Torres get paid for at Chelsea? If you watch EVERY United game and don't recognize that Rooney is a world class player with a LOT of ability then you're simply being biased or just jealous. But i bet u don't watch any United matches because Rooney's work rate and skill on and off the ball is immaculate
