Hi Lisa,

This is really a great song. I've been a trucker/singer/songwriter since 1977. Got off the road in 2004 to get a college degree. Going back out in August to grant a wish through the national charity, Twilight Wish Foundation, to an 81 year old lady who always wanted to ride in a cross country truck. Would love to connect with other lady truckers to celebrate our lives on the road and to share some songs and stories.

Thankyou for such a remarkable song dedicated to us truckers. I've been driving the big rigs for 18 yrs now. I was born & raised in the "old school" trucking profession & I wouldn't have it any other way. And as far as I'm concerned, "old school" is the only way to go. I drove an 18 wheeler for 29 years and this song really hits home. I was pretty much local/regional, but I missed many Christmases and many other holidays because there was milk to haul no matter the day. You have an awesome voice and keep safe. I will keep you in my prayers!

Lisa, I just realised I never commented on this one. Great job my friend. Never drove the big rigs but drove a lot of delivery vehicles long distance including a Bobtail for about 3 years. That road does get lonely but it has it's perks too. Actually, some of my most productive time is behind a wheel.
