  • that camera sux not worth the watch

  • what is the point of this parade?

  • i would love it if tons of people dressed up as zombies gathered in front of the white house! if i were the president that would scare the shit outta me!

  • my type of people or zombies lol you'd just be normal in my home town, great stuff.

  • that was such a fun day

  • Zombilicious.

Hows that. The Zombies should lead Critical Mass next month in the front of the pack, then some might think the Rapture is among us.

    Keep it real Zombination

  • oh nm my mistake i was looking at the wrong spot :) but i was there how could i of missed this.

  • what year was this was this it says it was added a year ago??i went this year and last year it was awesome!!!

  • I must say these people are the reason why they want to move the Comic-con to LA. Nobody wants to deal with people dressed up in zombie garb acting like asses. The Con is about showing who you are fans of. Not being the standtard teenage jackasses who just use this as an excuse to be stupid. You have tanted the good name of the geek world my friends.

  • I'm not sure if you failed to read the prior comments, or are simply ignoring them, but the people who were acting like asses were neither dressed as zombies, nor were their actions condoned. All of the people (myself included) who were actually in the parade obeyed traffic laws, didn't harass anyone, and posed for numerous photos. Next time, please understand the situation before you make comments full of nerdy indignation.

  • I'm not going to chirp off like a caged bird, but every group (even Zombies) needs someone to know who is with the group and who are the fakes. Maybe get some Zombie Bouncers...like you are StellaBelle's Comment Bouncer. You and the Zombies should get a meeting together.

  • Funny you should say that. I was actually there, and was one of the people who told the drunk kid to get the hell out of our walk. It was pretty evident that he didn't belong, as he was flailing and smacked a couple people (myself included.) I'm sure he'll become a real zombie in the future, or at least a close equivalent (a drunk hobo.)

  • Wow. Those are the coolest array of Zombies I've seen, since your bus video!

  • 0:13 to 0:16 im the one with the tennis racket

  • cool! I was wondering who that was! Did you create the costume yourself or get the idea from somewhere else?

  • went to salvation ary eariler n the day.

thats what i came up with

    :-)

  • Hey, I was the girl with the white contacts and slit throat :)

  • You were be best one in my correct opinion!

  • yeah, i really liked your get-up too. That's why you're in both shots. Hey, do you know the girls in the waitress outfits? Their photos turned out so good, I wanted to give them credit....

  • The only real zombie was the guy who offended diners at the Hard Rock Cafe. He wears no make-up, he tried to act "normal", but his undead hunger for the gristle of human flesh was momentarily sated by a greasy fry.

  • Hey I see me! Zombie Walk was so much fun. I can't wait till October for the next one

  • out of curiosity, which one are you?

  • 0:38 thru 0:41 My boyfriend and I are the zombies wearing the I <3 Brains shirts.

  • ahah i love how that one guy snatches food xD

  • Yeah, it's great to love "that one guy" ruining dinner for an unsuspecting couple and put the entire walk at risk for never being able to be held again. That guy is a douchebag and nothing less. He and his friends have all been banned from our future walks and events for being immature jackasses. There are far better ways to have fun than physically accosting the public. We have guidelines for a reason and these idiots weren't following ANY of them. Most of 'em didn't even have zombie makeup on!

  • Ha! I wonder what the few people who were not in the know about comic con were thinking?

  • They seemed a little freaked out, especially the couple at Hard Rock cafe. I didn't realize that guy who snatched the fry was a bit out of it when I filmed this......

  • Haha! I know that guy! I went to school with him. Guess he and Red got drunk right before the walk. Dumbasses! Love you, Red!

  • I hope everyone realizes that I do not have a bias for or against the zombie walks. I was only there as an observer, and I was just as shocked as the couple when a fry was snatched from their dinner plate. I record events as I see them, and do not edit out reality. I only act as a mirror on our culture and leave the judgement up to the viewer.

  • That one jerk wasn't even a walk participant; he had no makeup on and was drunk/underage. I saw him grab something from another restaurant podium, and someone who worked there came out yelling at him. I was the female Mormon missionary by the way.

  • Thanks for commenting, and by the way, do you know who the three waitresses with red-striped outfits are? My best photos (in my opinion) are of them. I wanted to give them credit, or at least label the photos with their names....

  • I'm not sure who they were; however, you could check the San Diego Zombie Walk myspace page and see if they are on there.

Great video, you got some really good angles, and the music goes so well with it.

  • Oh, wah! He's drunk and underage! Who these days isn't? The way things are, I wish I had alcohol in my veins instead of blood. He's just trying to have some fun; give him a break! Go Alec!!!

  • Um, no. That really wasn't cool of him and he put the integrity of the zombie walk group at risk. Cops were nearby during much of the walk and he's lucky they weren't there when that went down.

  • If we can learn from our mistakes, that's wonderful. If we continue to make the same mistakes over and over til we reach the grave, then we have a problem. All people have a chance to grow if our egos shrink and stop dictating. I do sincerely hope that i did not cause any undo harm to the zombie walks. Their spirit and energy were infectious and I am so glad that they exist. There will always be elements that don't belong. This we cannot change. Mirrors are my solution.

  • Most people aren't drunk and underage. And if they are, they aren't stupid enough to go out in public and steal people's food off their plates, bump into numerous other participants in an event, and potentially ruin any chance of this walk ever being held again. Go Alec you say? I say screw Alec and his foolish friends. They've all been notified that they're not welcome at any further events we sponsor or in which we take part. Cops will be involved next time. Being a moron isn't cool.

  • The truth of our culture gets more and more clear every day. In capturing the reality all around us, the picture of egotism looms large. Alec's behavior is a mirror. While I do not support his actions, I too, have done stupid things while drunk. At its best, this video can act as a mirror for us all.

  • I just want to say that actions like the fry-snatching are not typical for our behavior. Those people weren't even in zombie makeup and decided to show up drunk and act like jackasses, despite our prior urging not to show up under the influence (this is a rule at all of our events) and do not accost anyone not affiliated with the walk (also a rule at all events). They have been banned from our events in the future and have refused to apologize to our participants and the public.

  • The blog seemed to say otherwise. But hey! You didn't edit them out, so I guess you can bitch all you want AND lead other people in your direction?

  • I don't lead anyone. I simply show what is happening in my surroundings. While I do care about how I affect others, I do not edit out reality in order to support some specific agenda. I made that zombie film because I was curious about it, that's all. It was only later that I realized I had captured something inflammatory, something that revealed a truth. I am very glad youtube wasn't around when I was a teenager.

  • And they're now banned from our events for their actions. They're lucky my husband and his buddy didn't get involved like they wanted to, because your special little friends would still be sitting in juvie right now :)
