  • Ok. Can someone explain this to me? If you dont like it go somewhere else. Right? That is like me going to a gay bar and saying men cant touch me women cant touch women because it offends me. How do you think that would go? I would be wrong to say/do such a thing. But it is ok for people to go to a Christian Cafe and say it is offensive and expect something to be done about it. What is happening to the world?

  • Ah the New World Order doesn't like the Bible in public places.

  • @ ironclad 452 What does it matter where they preach from, if they get arrested is it not stepping on our constitutional rights of free speach? Also did’t Jesus Himself preach to captive audiences?

  • Section 5 of a Public Order Offense?

I always wanted to rent a place downtown where people could just stop by and have coffee while listening to someone who reads the bible out loud. Kinda like a place to go and hear someone always reading the bible... Not a church, but just bible reading and resource room. I better make sure there is no section 5 public order offence in New Hampshire first huh? Oh ya we are the Live Free or Die state, with the right to carry concealed too. England needs bible!

  • Where can we buy those Bible videos?

  • It’s already here in America. Street preachers are already getting arrested for preaching the Word of God.

  • @greeneyesangel69 Depends on whether they're preaching to a captive audience (like people in line) ... that, I believe, is illegal since the people aren't able to leave.

Unless you know of something else, that is.

  • A cafe can't be any more Christian than it could be a codfish. He is running a corporate business. A corporation is an entity of the state. As the officer/agent of said corporation he has a responsibility to run his business in accordance with the laws of the state. If you have a problem with the law, work to change it. If not then sit down & shut up!

  • Wasn't gonna say anything till I read that "Muslims encourage reading the Bible" - that's so untrue it's laughable. Tell ya what - go to Saudi Arabia and lets just start with trying to BUY a Bible. If, somehow, u manage to get your hands on one... Sit down outside, set it in your lap, start reading - and wait. You won't have to wait for long before you see some of this "Muslim encouragement" you speak of.

  • @creationcenterTV - How horrible to sit down and drink coffee and know that you're going to hell. Just saying its better know the truth than walk around in ignorance.

  • How horrible to sit down and drink coffee while the TV is saying that you're going to hell.

  • @creationcenterTV

The truth hurts but denial's what will kill you. An open rebuke is better than hidden love.

  • The police have NOT apologized for their taking action in this case, only for how they took action.

  • What you see in this video is America's very near-future.

  • Speaking of "homophobia"... How 'bout Christophobia, all you perverts? Maybe you need some therapy too?

  • Go to hell, stinking faggots!

    How's that for "offensive"?

  • Play it again, Sam. Play it over and over and over.

  • Homo phobic..? ? who is afraid of homos?

  • Was that one offended customer that retard jwissick? Sounds like something that troll would do.

  • Wow, I have heard they appologised! PRAISE GOD! HALLELUJAH!!!!

  • Outlawing Christianity is wrong.

Will they quit there? If not, what's next?

  • I think Bible verses on TV in a cafe is quaint. However, this guy is inviting trouble if he doesn't take the time to screen for homophobic messages and other potentially offensive content. Oh well. I understand the issue has been resolved.

  • @ddrninjette

...are you an idiot? Like, seriously.

"this guy is inviting trouble if he doesn't take the time to screen for homophobic messages and other potentially offensive content."

What is 'homophobic' about the Bible? Can you tell the difference between supposed 'homophobia' and stating what one believes to be true? Do you not realize that if man were to indeed screen for 'other potentially offensive content,' he would have to throw away the entire Gospels? The shop is private property!

  • @aveyowyns Anything from the Bible is the truth. He's sharing the truth from God's word... with love.

  • @aveyowyns "...are you an idiot?"

No need to make fun of me.

"What is 'homophobic' about the Bible?"

There a select few passages that people use to justify negative attitudes toward the gays.

"Can you tell the difference between supposed 'homophobia' and stating what one believes to be true?"

Why can't one be honest about their homophobia?

    "he... throw away the Gospels?"

Doubtful. Most of the Bible is positive.

    "The shop is private property!"

When did I say it wasn't?

  • @ddrninjette

"...passages that people use to justify negative attitudes towards gays."

So what? What about the hundreds of books that are used to justify 'negative attitudes' towards Christians? No one has the right to be viewed with a 'positive attitude' by everyone.

    "...honest about their homophobia?"

Homophobia: fear of homosexuals. Christians do not fear homosexuals, nor do we hate them. But we will not forfeit our right to speak out against the ACTION, homosexuality.

  • @aveyowyns So people who post hateful messages about Christians in their store shouldn't expect negative consequences?

Homophobia also refers to antipathy towards homosexuals: you know... like denying that homosexuality isn't a choice.

  • @ddrninjette

Bookstores sell hateful messages about Christianity and Christians, they don't get negative consequences. Books against God, calling Christians deluded, insulting the Bible are publicized all over the media, and make the best seller list - no negative consequences for them, either!

    "antipathy towards homosexuals."

...which the Bible does not promote more for than the average sinner. Many homosexuals have chosen to be homosexual - that it is solely a choice is a myth.

  • @aveyowyns "...which the Bible does not promote more for than the average sinner. Many homosexuals have chosen to be homosexual - that it is solely a choice is a myth. "

Oh, this is going to be tinfoil hat fantastic....

So, do tell, if being gay is a choice, why is it the opinion of the American Psychological Association that it is not a choice?

Better yet, explain why there are physical / biological differences between gay and straight people?

  • @ddrninjette

I said that homosexuality is SOLELY a choice is a myth.

The American Psychological Association used to say that homosexuality was a disorder - so if they are the authority of what's true about the human psyche, then said truth changes.

...because those people happen to be those who are born homosexual - being born with a psychological disorder doesn't make participating in said disorder any more or less sinful - like sociopathy.

  • @aveyowyns So let me get your defense straight... Because medical science is always investigating, learning, expanding, and correcting itself,, it's okay to reject decades of scientific research and progress and support outdated views that have been discarded by medical professionals ages ago?

You also compared homosexuality to sociopathy? Wow... And you wonder why we find LGBT members burned alive even in America.

  • @ddrninjette

"Decades of scientific research and progress."

There is no progress when it comes to homosexuality or psychology. The facts that were available to us now, were available to them then, but being a social science, it requires a moral or cultural paradigm to be interpreted. Back then, we drew from the facts that homosexuality was a disorder as it prevented people from correctly discerning which sex is mateable. But now that our cultural and moral compass is shifting, we draw...

  • @aveyowyns Are you really going to sit there and tell me there has been absolutely no research done or data collected in the last 50 years or so in areas of neurology, morphology, sexual biology, psychiatry, psychology, sociology, genetics, comparative biology, etc... related to homosexuality? Furthermore, you are suggesting scientists are part of a giant conspiracy to hide the truth about homosexuality.

    Seriously? You believe that?

  • @ddrninjette

I never said there was no research done - only that there's nothing new under the sun. It doesn't change how much we know about homosexuality!! It is our MORAL and CULTURAL paradigm that determines what we fine means. So no, I don't believe that there is a conspiracy to hide the truth about homosexuality - but as the sin of homosexuality becomes more and more morally acceptable in our culture, rather than looking at the facts from the point of view of a disorder, we do it...

  • @ddrninjette

...point of view that it is NORMAL.

  • @ddrninjette

...different truths from the same facts; that homosexuality is as successful as heterosexuality - when that is not true (ie homosexual men have an average lifespan of 39 years).

Homosexuality IS the same as sociopathy - both are psychological disorders. Where homosexuals cannot correctly discern between mateable and unmateable sexes, a sociopath cannot correctly understand certain social functions, like empathy. What's more, a sociopath occurs among us more often than...

  • @aveyowyns You know the only thing more laughable than your unbelievably low life expectancy for the gays is the fact that the major cause of lower expectancies for gays comes from abuse and mistreatment by homophobes.

    htt p://w ww.springerlink.c om/content/54xv38530h727441/

  • @ddrninjette

...actually no, you goof. The low life-expectancy for homosexual males being 39 is AIDS.

  • @aveyowyns However, if your argument is that since homosexuals have a lower life expectancy, it should be treated as a disease, the KKK would love you. Black people in our country have a significantly shorter lifespan than whites. Therefore, by your very same logic, being black is a disease. Congratulations.

  • @ddrninjette

Except my 'blackness' does not determine what I do. Unlike homosexuality, which is almost always followed by other psychological disease like depression, bi-polar disorder and other immoral tendencies like sexual immorality (aside from being homosexual, of course) and spousal abuse. Homosexuality describes what one DOES not what one IS.

    "by your very same logic."

To use 'my very same logic,' you have to understand it first.

  • @aveyowyns You know what? While I find the idea that your blackness is not part of your identity laughable, sexual orientation is more of a function of neurology. However, it should be noted that there are morphological differences between gays and straights, so you literally are gay or straight in a physical sense. Perhaps left vs. right handedness is an apt comparison.

  • @ddrninjette

    homosexuality!!

*and by the way, sociopathy is not the same as psycopathy; sociopaths occur three out of a hundred men and one out of a hundred women.

  • @ddrninjette

Not to mention, the American Psychological Association also declares pedophilia as 'not a choice,' should we then say that men and woman who desire to have sex with young boys and girls have a right to do what they are naturally inclined to do? Any sex that does not anticipate procreation is immoral and unnatural.

  • @aveyowyns That's right. Pedophilia isn't a choice, neither is autism or right-handedness. So, what's your point? We should chastise left-handed people? The fact is that having feelings of pedophilia isn't morally wrong. Most pedophiles probably have enough sense to never touch children. They should be encouraged to seek help if anything. However, in most cases of homosexuality, you have two consenting adults, so rape and abuse are non-issues.

  • @ddrninjette

Sociopathy and clinical narcissism isn't a choice, but we don't fight for THEIR rights.

  • @ddrninjette so anything negative towards homosexuals is homophobia? Because someone dislikes homosexuals lifestyles they are automatically a homophobe?

  • @ddrninjette - They can expect the consequence of not having Christian customers anymore. That's it.

  • @ddrninjette

"Most of the Bible is positive."

...according to whom? Homosexuals find passages about homosexuality offensive. Sinners find passages about hell offensive (which Jesus spoke about more often than anyone in the Bible). Atheists find passages about unbelief offensive. Muslims find the entire Bible offensive, etc, etc.

The shop is private property - just as you have the right to play or read whatever you want in your home, so do these shop owners.

  • @aveyowyns Most people are pretty cool about the Bible when presented positively. It doesn't matter what background they are from; messages of wisdom and love are universal.

"The shop is private property - just as you have the right to play or read whatever you want in your home, so do these shop owners."

Well, there are limits to what you can play even in your own home... But who said he couldn't play a Bible DVD on his TV?

  • @ddrninjette

"Most people are pretty cool about the Bible ... messages of wisdom and love are universal."

...if you live in La-la land. Muslims despise the Bible because it declares Jesus as the son of God. Sinners despise the Bible because it says they are going to hell, regardless of how good and loving they are.

No, there are no limits - as long as it doesn't impede on the sacredness of someone else's home, there are no limits.

  • @aveyowyns acutally the Muslims actually allow and promote reading the Bible, they believe it is corrupted but the gospels and the psalms should be read.

  • @ccsniper

I never said they didn't promote reading the Bible - goodness gracious, even Christianity promotes the reading of other religious text to better counter the beliefs of the world. I said they DESPISED it, which they do.

  • UPDATE :

    The Police have since appologised.

  • @daleyboy77 it's always good to hear an apology
