I get the whole slang justification, it is just used incorrectly here. Tonite isn't American colloquialism, it's just a misspelling. No matter where you are, or whatever slang you are using, it's either "tonight" or it's wrong.
Besides that, I loved it, just trying to clear things up.
People are arguing over the spelling of tonight. - unreal. In my opinion, the official spelling should be Tonite. Why the hell the "gh" is in there anyways? Why not? Fite, Lite, Rite, Tonite, Hite, Frite. That all makes more sense, because we have the long E rule already. :)
@gredangeo While I completely agree, untill it's changed what we think is right isn't what is right. It's tonight, as in night time, to as in this. There you go.
no its actually _NOT_ a word. unlike supossably which is a word but just misused as supposedly. Anyways the line in the movie is tonight, if you turn on the subs this will prove it and to try to defend your bad urban english is sad.
@Jamesthefishy Yes, yes. I am perfectly aware that it is not a REAL word. However this one has been used on purpose. As I have already said - the overall feeling of the movie made me use it. Period. I couldn't have used it by mistake, I couldn't have learned it on the streets - the only english speaking country, that I have been to, is U.K., where you would be presumably decapitated for writing "tonite". Anyway - I am fully aware of my mistake :)
@lgnlint Yes, yes. It is. In correct english. Fortunately you CAN use slang expressions AND spelling if you want to emphasise something. That's why you can use "gal" instead of "girl", "nigga" instead of "nigger", "c'mon" insted of "come on" and so on... ;)
@g00rek Great work you've got there. One suggestion though: why not incorporate Zed whimpering along with the main dialogue? The whimpers would seem to give nice pacing to the scene, and a fully involved perspective as well...
4*'d. Liked it. I've listened to it without the sound, and the fonts used really helped to give it a voice. The interchanging on "You" between the two characters was REALLY good, and probably the thing I liked the most.
ohh right! Missed that one :) But lost the original file I guess so never would be able to correct it anyway. It was fun doing it, actually I won a small competition in the office - I was an account there and won it woth all the graphic guys. Lol, that was funny. ;) Thanx
Hi. I used your typography as part of a remix video I made because I really liked it. You will be credited but I will remove it if you wish. Thanks and good job.
This would have been perfect for my "After Effects" assignment... Unfortunately, I suck. I wish I could have come in with this. I would have been a hero. I loved it.
This. Is my favorite scene from the movie. Thank you. Well done.

Not sure about your choice of distressed fonts, but the animation is A+. Nice work.

@gredangeo Well there is NO logic in english spelling vs pronunciation anyway :) You just have to learn how to pronounce...

I have the impression that criminals lead way too much of a violent life. I'm not quite sure what the appeal is.
